Cobra Kai Season 6 Episode 15 'Ex-Degenerate' Full TV Reaction!!

Comments

Forgot to comment, lol. But just wanted to say how much I love this show and how much I loved watching along with you guys, what a journey!!! 😊

Back the 80’s and in my mind, William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) was the stereotypical bad guy was typcast and appeared as such in several different movies (Just One of The Guys, Back To School, Natl. Lampoon European Vacation). If he wasn’t an outright bully he was a smarmy guy that you had no difficulty disliking. It was cool to see him in a different light and becoming a fan of his. It’s really cool that he had this opportunity to put a new spin on his old character.

Oh wow, thanks. Mind you idk if I'll be able to do it without making it choppy or even how long it'll take, but you'll be the first to know. 😊

It's hard to believe that this show has come to an end. This show was great in almost every aspect. The call backs were fantastic, and I was happy to see characters from the trilogy make an appearance (a real shame that Hilary Swank's character never appeared). I also thought all the characters evolved very well as the seasons progressed. Even though I was finally relieved to see the final call back in the last few minutes (the fly and chopsticks), but I kinda wished that Daniel-San had caught it the first try. Oh well, it was funny to see Johnny smash it with his hands.

Awesome! Well when you do get to The Offer ill be here! lol 😃

I'll find them and tag you in them. I know you guys are insanely busy. There are way more callbacks and Easter eggs that I didn't see. The Oak from Badd Medicine said the scene with Robby in the locker room was shot for shot identical to Daniel in KK1. Dudes know every millisecond of that movie. Well we still got the 2010 Karate Kid and the new movie.. and I honestly feel like Miguel and Sam in Okinawa could be its own spinoff show. They did talk about spinoff shows, plural, but the only one that's been talked about was the possibility of a young Miyagi one. But I don't think that would be as good as continuation of these characters.. I love Miyagi and all but since they wrapped up the story about the necklace do we really need to see it? If I had to chose I'd rather see these characters again. Oh also I dunno if you guys are planning to see the rest of the Donnie Yen Ip Man movies.. they are insanely good and very emotional. I love those films and I feel like a kid again. I'm finally studying Wing Chun because of those films and Ip Man's story specifically.

I found your channel on YouTube in early 2022 when you first started watching this series. It almost feels like the end of an era. Overall l loved this series and I love that final scene with the fly. With very few words it sums up both of their personalities. Every character we've been following is in a better place and the show leaves you feeling good about their futures. Exactly the kind of ending a show like this needs. It's slightly weird that they barely mention Kreese and Silver at all (other than one comment from Wolf), but I think it might have to do with the upcoming Karate Kid sequel that's coming out in May. Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan's characters are going to meet, but I don't know much else about the plot. If it's successful they might make a follow up that reveals that either Kreese, Silver or both survived but I'm just speculating. Even though every season is great, I think the show's peak is season 4. We got the return of Terry Silver, seeing him backslide into being the monster he was in the 80's. He's such a great evil villain. On top of that, the 2 episodes with the All Valley Tournament that ended season 4 had the absolute best fight choreography in the show. Cobra Kai incorporating Miyagi Do's defensive style into their own offensive style to throw them for a loop was great. Hawk vs. Kyler, and then Hawk vs. Robby. Sam vs Tory and the bad call from the ref, followed by the reveal that Silver paid him off. Miguel leaving the tournament to search for his dad... every storyline was Cobra Kai firing on all cylinders.

TBR Schmitt

Haha no we just hadn’t watched it yet but didn’t want to put up a new schedule until we had! I have to go back and watch that scene with Sensei Wolf! I did not remember that! Omg Daniel’s going to be dying with those memes! We need to find them! So glad you enjoyed the show with us! Thanks for all the awesome comments! Definitely enhanced our viewing reading all the little callbacks and Easter eggs! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

After Johnny gets ties it up, the move that Wolf does was the death kill move he did in the flashback with Silver when he was fighting in the cage. Thats why he was taking so long and it was a big deal. Guys please do more martial arts action fighting movies like Kickboxer with Van Damme or Only the Strong with Marc Dacascos or Showdown in Little Tokyo with Brandon Lee and Dolf Lundgren!!! These are such great action fighting films!!!!

Man what a journey, I'm in my feelings rn. Cobra Kai Never Dies!

A bit was filmed where Kreese's hand picked up the Sports Illustrated Magazine but it was ultimately cut. I think if they wanted Kreese to survive the showrunners would have made a smaller yacht explosion in post. I loved the show and I think it was time to end it. Season 6 is a mixed bag. Part 1 of the season is probably the weakest stretch of episodes in the show. Fortunately each part got better and Part 3 was a real highpoint. It's so satisfying that the series stuck the landing.

It's been a long road with you guys. Sucks that the trip is over now...with Cobra Kai, I mean. Technically the 5th season was my final one. I might try to edit the last half of season 6 as some kind of epilogue, though. 🤔

ShadowVessel π

That's fair 😜

I think by longest running they meant in terms of years they spent watching the show. They watched this one as it aired for the most part. Despite a lower episode count than Sopranos, they spent the most actual time watching it.

Donna Castellano

That was a hell of an adventure with you guys. From the first Karate Kid to to the final episode of "Cobra Kai", this might be one of my most satisfying sagas I ever watched. Thank you both for reacting to all of this. All we got left is the new Karate Kid movie. Were you guys gonna react to that as well? It may be over but... Cobra Kai Never Dies.

EdmanXERO

The conversation at the end was a joke, they talked about planning a show of "Back to the future" from the villains point of view.

Ido Gordin

1) The guys in the restaurant are two of the three Cobra Kai showrunners, Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, and they were doing a joke pitch for a Back to the Future remake ;) 2) The ending was perfectly balanced. 3) Daniel shitting on Lost, common man, don't believe everything you hear ;)

Chris B

I was wondering if you guys had forgotten that you hadn't put this up, but then I remembered I did see it on the schedule. I can't believe that no reactors seemed to get that during the last round that move that Sensei Wolf did was the "Shaolin Sunset" the move that he did in the cage fight in Thailand when he met Silver, that Silver told him was banned everywhere, and Wolf responded "Not here." He ended up killing the guy. I'm surprised no one remembered. But anyway, it was hilarious after the show premiered and the cast started posting stuff about the show, Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith both were posting almost weekly memes of Kreese and Silver surviving the explosion somehow. There was one with Kreese covered in bandages and the only way you knew it was Kreese was coz the nurse called him by name or something, and other ones with Silver in the water with the burning yacht in the distance. I don't think they were saying anything it was just meant as humor. BUT the bit t the end where they were talking about a Back to the Future reboot there was some speculation that they might be planning a Back to the Future continuation show. I think when the creators were asked they didn't deny it. And you guys totally could've been in the running scene maybe. The Corba Kai Kid was actually in the end scene when Johnny beat Wolf. He was one of the guys that ran onto the mat chanting Cobra Kai, and he had some shots in the background. I didn't see him even after I saw the video where he said he was in it, so I dunno. but still pretty cool. This was an amazing show. Also another callback that everyone missed was when Miguel runs up to Sam at the airport. Callback to Karate Kid 2 where Daniel runs up to the airport at the last minute to tell Mr. Miyagi that he's going to Okinawa.

Alex

longest running? um Sopranos would like to have a word lol but it is bittersweet I have loved this show since day One, every episode always hit for me some more than others but what an incredible journey, Thank You to the both of you for going along for the ride! and If I may humbly suggest for a future series poll, its The Godfather related, its called "The Offer" great limited series just one season, nine or ten episodes I believe, Its about the making of The Godfather, Great Cast It stars Miles Teller!
