(TW Blood) Baby Weapons: Their Beginnings

I saw someone do this with the Welcome Home cast and it really made me think of Baby Weapons so I have not fallen asleep yet and I am so tired but I wanted to get this done before I just couldn't bc jfc The D!ckheads takes all the rest of my time frfr *sobs* but that's okay. I love them all frfr--

Arson was bought by a pimp. She thought of him as her savior, even though their relationship was really bad. Gunner’s family farm was raided, they fought back but some were killed in the process while the rest were taken into the System and separated. Bide was born into the System and experimented on. Knives’ family was hunted.

Knives’ use to live a pretty wealthy and happy life with their identical twin sister Daisy. They were raised by their butlers and maids, but when their parents were around they loved each other just as dearly. One day, bandits/bounty hunters set up camp all around the family’s mansion, blocking anyone from leaving or getting in. Knives and Daisy were hidden in small cabinets by some of their staff, and the staff in that section (probably the kitchen?) ended up dying. When Daisy and Knives thought the coast was clear, they made a run for it. They thought they could run through their family garden and escape through the forest out back but sadly they were chased down. Daisy didn’t make it.

I feel like this is where Knives sort of starts developing really bad agoraphobia(fear of going out) and glossophobia(? I think it’s called? The definition is fear of public speaking but I picture it more broadly, like Knives is very anxious to verbally communicate at all to any one especially new people). They were really choked up and shocked to speak at all during the hunt and despite being very knowledgeable and skilled as a kid, they froze. And it kind of stuck with them.

Knives thought the only way to redeem themselves was to somehow free the kids in the sector they were in. Knives is the one who set a bomb and set them and Gunner free. Though that was a very significant part of Knives’ life, it is not the thing that ends up defining them as a person.

My initial name for Knives was going to be based off this,,, something to deal with an explosion, Debris, Bomb, Boom (this is where the nickname Gunner gives them “Boo” initially comes from), or even just Explosion. But I felt like that was too obvious. Knives is smart and well calculated when they’re in the position to do so, but I wanted something that may feel less significant—and BIG and BOOMING—to be what actually “defined” them. It is a story for another time and finally deals with knives.

ALSO. Knives is sorta like the person behind the computer when the crew goes on little missions. Finding blueprints and making strategies and shit. The little nerd sidekick who does the gangs small technical repairs. And also the get away driver if able. :D
