Just speculating, but maybe Gus going by the guy's table sweeping the floor was his tell that whatever going down was called off.

He has been in New Mexico for 10 years since 1992. He’s been a lawyer for 4 years (he passed the bar in 1998) - Chuck McGill is 58 years-old (17 years older than Jimmy!). Chuck has been home-ridden for a year and a half since early 2001 - Kim Wexler is 34 years-old. She worked at HHM for at least 9 years - Gus Fring has been with the cartel for 13 years. His partner Max was killed by Hector at Don Eladio’s hacienda in 1989. - Gus's total screen time in Breaking Bad was 2hrs 40min. About 6% of the total show screen time. Saul Goodman's screen time was 2hrs 44min.

It was fun hearing how much you both loved Francesca's cheerfulness. Maybe, it was due to this drastic change in her personality that caused both of you to not realize that this is another Breaking Bad character. I love all the call-backs we are getting. First, we get the dramatic Pollos Hermanos reveal, and in the very next scene Francesca walks in the door. Then we get Gustavo and Victor. Season 3 is off to a great start! :)

You listed a few but based on your discussion of these episodes, I think you might have failed to recognized one (not a spoiler). By the way, I loved the first 4 episodes of this show but never got around to watching the last 2. I’m rewatching with you guys and will watch the last 2 seasons for the first time along with you when you get to them. Kinda fun.
