2025-01-12 15:46:05 +0000 UTCIf you're gonna watch an ALIEN sequel it better be the Assembly Cut. It's already a rough go as a theatrical cut, the Assembly Cut is a way better flick. So, to play it safe I went with T3. It's a fun, little flick. It's the ALIEN: RESURRECTION of the TERMINATOR movies. Just silly, goofy fun.
Philip Davetas
2025-01-07 12:17:05 +0000 UTCI think I’m set on: 1) Predator 2) Prey 3) Predators 4) Predator 2
Matthew Blackwood
2025-01-03 21:07:05 +0000 UTCRight? Technically it's not even a sequel. It's a spinoff. Lol

2025-01-02 14:29:56 +0000 UTCHey guys love your reactions particularly with the Scream Franchise. I know you guys have a full schedule already Do you guys have any plans to do Scream 4 soon?
Brannon Dunlap
2025-01-02 09:47:38 +0000 UTCPredators is my fave from the list. Only Predator and Predator 2 is better.
Sean
2024-12-31 21:31:00 +0000 UTCYou won't regret continuing the Friday the 13th franchise
ArchStanton
2024-12-31 16:00:54 +0000 UTCTrue, but if you have seen Aliens you will get the references in Romulus

2024-12-31 14:28:01 +0000 UTCNo "Psycho II"?? 😭
Mr. Writhms
2024-12-31 11:26:32 +0000 UTCUs Marshalls and The Jewel of the Nile are soo good !!!
Florian Meier
2024-12-31 08:09:23 +0000 UTCI assume you mean "American Pie 2" because that's the one that came out in 2001. The listing on the poll only reads "American Pie".
Scott Greene
2024-12-31 07:52:24 +0000 UTC"The Thing" , 2011 for me. Great prequel!! But, you have "Predators", which is a great sequel....tough choice. For me, anyway. LOL
Chris Baldwin
2024-12-31 07:43:50 +0000 UTCYes! For years I held Alien³ in such low regard I never ever wanted to revisit it, but I got curious about the Assembly Cut earlier this year, watched it, and ended up liking it a good deal more than I was expecting to. Alien Resurrection is still a dumpster fire, though lol.

2024-12-31 05:40:18 +0000 UTCAlien Romulus > Alien 3
penoyer79
2024-12-31 05:01:34 +0000 UTCRomulus has problems of its own, but its better than Alien 3 and most of the movies here. and you really only need to have seen Alien to watch Romulus and they have
penoyer79
2024-12-31 05:00:59 +0000 UTCaside from American Pie, Another 48, and clerks 2 most of these you could probably skip.

2024-12-31 04:50:57 +0000 UTCThe did I, II, and III Coppola Cut.
David W.
2024-12-31 04:50:37 +0000 UTCI definitely think they need to watch The Hustler first. But I also think The Hustler is unquestionably a better movie.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-31 04:34:07 +0000 UTCI don't fully disagree with that, although whwat I'd really say is I think the most number of people have seen U.S. Marshals. I was thinking maybe it was a movie that got a bunch of TV airplay or something and people really came to like it.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-31 04:33:27 +0000 UTCI imagine not many on here have seen French Connection 2.
Birdie Num Num
2024-12-31 04:16:51 +0000 UTCHave y'all done Godfather II? It's amazing.
Mark Kelso
2024-12-31 04:01:37 +0000 UTCAs much as I want Beneath the POTA to win I also want US Marshals to win. Everyone has done reactions to The Fugitive but I have yet to see any react channels watch US Marshals. It is a great underrated sequel and deserves it's due after nearly 30 years.
Robert Durant
2024-12-31 02:29:25 +0000 UTCWow, I am stunned US Marshalls is leading the pack and quite comfortably lol
Julian San
2024-12-31 01:39:43 +0000 UTCThe Color of Money (1986). You can watch The Hustler (1961) either first or after as a prequel.

2024-12-31 01:11:22 +0000 UTCThis poll has mostly served to remind me how bad many sequels are, hah.

2024-12-31 00:50:27 +0000 UTCYes, please, Psycho II and Scream 4.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-31 00:16:00 +0000 UTCAlien Romulus (2024) a sequel to Alien and Prequel to Aliens

2024-12-30 23:46:25 +0000 UTCA request! Can you put Nightmare on Elm Street on a future poll too?
PIG
2024-12-30 23:37:47 +0000 UTCJaws 2
Tray-T
2024-12-30 23:35:20 +0000 UTCI'm going with US Marshals. Objectively, it's probably not even in the top 5 in this list, but I just feel like rewatching it and know it'll be great fun. No Psycho 2 in the poll can only mean it's coming soon! (dreaming). Possibly in a double bill with Scream 4 (really dreaming)!!
Future Boy
2024-12-30 23:28:07 +0000 UTCAmerican Pie 2, Another 48Hrs, and Crocodile Dundee II for me 🤘
ShadowVessel π
2024-12-30 23:18:34 +0000 UTCI would also echo those who have pointed out that the View Askewniverse is technically meant to be watched in chronological order. Clerks (1994) Mallrats (1995) Chasing Amy (1997) Dogma (1999) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) Clerks II (2006) Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019) Clerks III (2022) There is also an unnecessary spin-off movie in there, Jay & Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie. If you were going to watch a Kevin Smith cartoon, I would be much quicker to recommend the one-season, six-episode "Clerks" cartoon which was essentially canceled before it even had a chance, but which is also my favorite VA thing since Dogma. I yearn to live in a universe where the cartoon went for several seasons.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-30 23:09:18 +0000 UTCAlso, if you do happen to watch Alien³, please, please make sure to watch the alternate cut. On digital streaming services it is generally labeled the "Special Edition," but also is colloquially known as the Workprint Cut or the Assembly Cut. This is the last version of the film that David Fincher worked on before he walked off the film, and the rest of editing was finished without him. It is greatly superior to the theatrical cut, which borders on incoherent thanks to some of the editing choices made.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-30 23:07:02 +0000 UTCTell that to Sam and Dan while they're watching and loving "Better Call Saul." Never say never...
Tyler Foster
2024-12-30 23:05:19 +0000 UTCSurprised at U.S. Marshals taking the lead here. Nothing wrong with it, but it's a thoroughly *fine* movie. I'm hoping French Connection II pulls it off in the end.
Tyler Foster
2024-12-30 23:04:15 +0000 UTCTommy Lee here, definitely. Will also second Another 48 Hours.
Mark Gettemeyer
2024-12-30 23:00:58 +0000 UTCTerminator 3 is fun, slightly bordering on ridiculous. And i unironically really like its ending.
Analytical Guy
2024-12-30 22:58:28 +0000 UTCCrazy choices. I voted for Creed III but then I saw U.S. Marshals and I was like "DAMNIT". XD I've been waiting for that one, too. I do hope you guys also react to "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey". It's the sequel to "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". Party on, dudes!
EdmanXERO
2024-12-30 22:56:33 +0000 UTCNot really. Narratively speaking, they would still have 4 movies to react to between both "Clerks" movies.
EdmanXERO
2024-12-30 22:55:03 +0000 UTCU.S. Marshals, Another 48 Hrs, American Pie 2, and French Connection II.
Mike the Ginger
2024-12-30 22:54:31 +0000 UTCI don't care what version you guys watch, I'm just excited for a potential Alien³ reaction! I honestly watch it as much as I do Alien and Aliens. Just a perfect trilogy.
Vincent Hollow
2024-12-30 22:52:42 +0000 UTCif you watch Alien 3 make sure its the assembly / directors cut ( its quite hard to find though unfortunately ). David Finchers first film and theres a very interesting back story to it ( heavy studio politics etc )
Nick Sneddon
2024-12-30 22:47:54 +0000 UTCAre we that far into the View Askewniverse?
mikethemotormouth
2024-12-30 22:43:59 +0000 UTCNo prequels. Ever. Why waste time when you already know the eventual outcome?
Miles E Coburn
2024-12-30 22:37:16 +0000 UTCA prequel I would love for you to check out eventually is 'The First Omen' which came out earlier this year, where we find out how Damien was created. Maybe next October? But sooner would also be nice! Honestly, I don't really love any of these. There are only a select good amount of sequels and prequels and you've already gone through most of them, so it's tough.
Shehab Dawoud
2024-12-30 22:34:21 +0000 UTCSo many great choices! I do think that when it comes to Kevin smith movies, it's best to watch them all in release order, because quite a bit happens between Clerks and Clerks II. 😁
