In the pilot episode of Breaking Bad, Walter is bullied by his boss at the car wash, Hank emasculates him at his birthday party, and his students make fun of him. For Jimmy, he has his crappy car, crappy office, works his ass of on low paying public defender cases and has to take care of his older brother. We can't help but feel for them. And once you feel for a character, once you're on their side, it's hard to change that. It's kind of like a sports team. When you're a fan you'll hate anyone who is against your team and you'll justify anything bad your team does.

The slowest, least engaging of all the seasons. And it is amazing. The show just keeps getting better and better. Bob Odenkirk deserved so many Emmys, and he never won one.
