Still fun, still meta and goofy etc. but it gets better again after this. Part 4 is a mixed bag depending on who you ask. I really like it. 5 and 6 are AWESOME. Not without their flaws, but absolutely better films than part 3. Hope you continue the series until it's completed

This one might seem a little different than the previous 2 because Kevin Williamson didn't return as the writer. Ehren Kruger (The Ring & Top Gun: Maverick) was hired on as the head writer. The film was plagued with rewrites because of it getting leaked, the fact that Kruger ignored Williamson's outline, and with the characters bearing little resemblance to their previous selves, so they incorporated it into the actual Scream 3 plot. To answer your question, Yes, Roger L. Jackson is the voice of Ghostface/The Killer in every Scream movie and usually he's kept off-set and speaks to the actors on the phone directly during their scenes. The reason Matthew Lillard is credited in this one is because of a very quick scene where Sidney walks into the set of her mother's murder. There's an auditory flashback of Stu and Billy explaining that Maureen was an adulteress. Glad you enjoyed it, suspension of disbelief is always a good thing to have while watching a horror/slasher film. Can't wait until you get to Scream 4!

2024-10-22 03:51:02 +0000 UTCThis movie gets a bad rap, but I have always enjoyed it. I like the actor characters, especially Parker Posey as Jennifer /Fake Gale. The scenes with both Gales is just funny. I especially loved the Carrie Fisher cameo, and Jay and Silent Bob. I don't know if you've seen the other Nightmare on Elm Street movies, but you should. They are fun, the one I definitely recomend most is New Nightmare. I also recommend continuing Scream. The 4th one is also really good. 6 might be one of my favorites besides 1 and 2.

2024-10-22 02:20:57 +0000 UTCIt's wild to think the story of this entire franchise exists because a young girl went to Hollywood with dreams of becoming an actor only to get chewed up and spit out by a garbage-human of a producer. Then she returns to her home town defeated and years later it all comes back and actually kills her. You know what's even more wild? This was made by Dimension which was owned by Miramax and run by the Weinstein brothers. Even in the late 90's when this movie was written people knew about Harvey Weinstein's behavior. So right under Weinstein's nose, a screenwriter wrote a movie where Lance Henriksen plays a rapist producer based on Harvey himself and Harvey Weinstein's company released that movie. What a town. 😆
