Fargo Season 3 Episode 7 'The Law of Inevitability' Full TV Reaction!!

One thing to note that you may have missed because it isn't shown very clearly: Nikki and Mr. Wrench were handcuffed directly to each other before the bus departed. Michael Stuhlbarg often gets overlooked in discussion of Season 3 because of all the great actors around him but he gives a wonderful performance as Sy, especially in this episode. As has been mentioned by other commenters before, he is the lead actor in the Coen Brothers' highly acclaimed 2009 film, A Serious Man.

Also I'd recommend rewatching the first scene of episode one (the East Germany interrogation scene) before the next episode. There are some name drops that will better inform some of the next episode.

Lets gooo. Great reaction and thoughts as always. Yes to the frustration at the laziest of those who should do better. I always understood the gifts to be Varga opening and then re-wrapping the gifts. He is ultimately greedy but hates to be noticed. Its a way for him to "get" the presents without anyone knowing.

The way new chief pulled Nikki out of the window while trying to escape is a great nod to William H. Macy in the movie. Somehow Nikki looks a lot more dignified than he did. I think this is the episode where it becomes clear that Nikki really does love Ray and wasn't just in it for the potential of a big payday with a scam. Emmit turning on Sy was pretty sad to see. Sy always thinking clearly with his "turning millions into thousands" remark was great. Then his next scene is that "the world is wrong" scene with his wife and you can't help but feel heartbroken for the guy. I think he gets the funniest and saddest lines throughout the whole season.
