I second blood in blood out

dieselbeast

I love B/B out. Great flick.

Philip Davetas

My dudes! BLADE! I love this entire trilogy. It saved Marvel from going bankrupt. If it weren't for this there would be no MCU.

Philip Davetas

Donnie Brasco! 👌 Blood In, Blood Out (1993) Legends of the Fall (1994) Meet Joe Black (1998)

By the way, it might be useful for you when watching 80s movies to understand the different culture regarding kids and teens at the time. Nowadays, we regard teenagers more like we would young children, but in the 80s it was common for teens to be going hard with a sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle by the age of 15. And for actual young children, helicopter parenting wasn’t a thing yet. It was the opposite of that in the 70s and 80s in fact. It was the era of the “latchkey kids.” It was normal for young kids to be outside getting into mischief and adventures with their friends for many hours, even at night, without their parents ever knowing or asking where they went. There was just a different societal frame regarding these things. The Atari was popular, but the culture of sitting all day at home playing videogames hadn’t yet set in (plus kids would go out to videogame arcade centers to play socially.) And we weren’t buried under tons of homework like kids today are. So kid culture mostly revolved around outside play and hanging out with each other. We had the time and freedom to do that then. I wish kids today were able to experience the rich, imagination and adventure filled childhoods and teen years that we got to live. The lifestyle of younger generations seems so flat, prosaic and vibeless compared to how it was for kids in the 70s and 80s.

Hi guys, when you want to react to another classic 80s coming of age film, I highly recommend “Risky Business.” It’s masterfully directed and has really held up well imo. “Risky Business” was culturally significant at the time and features an iconic scene with Tom Cruise (it was the movie that made him a star.).

I don’t wanna see a fugazi reaction. Capisce?

Stephen Malloy

Blade is definitely more of a cult classic.

Forrest

At last!!!! Donnie Brasco!!!!! Wow! Can't wait for that one! It's actually great you waited this long to see it, because you've seen so many other Al Pacino movies, most of his classics! This is one of his absolute best performances, I'm sure you agree! I put this alongside Godfather 1, 2, and Dog Day Afternoon for great Pacino performances, and definitely my favorite thing he did in the 90s. And it's one of Johnny Depp's performances as well. And Anne Heche's too! Can't wait!

Tic Toc Melody

Ooh Blade!

Blade! <3

Any chance we get ‘The King of Comedy’ soon? I know it was on a poll recently, but honestly, it’s not the kind of film that will win polls. Because I don’t think most mainstream film fans know it. It’s an executive decision type of reaction. You did ‘Taxi Driver’ 3 years ago, I would’ve expected it to follow suit straight after. You both loved ‘Joker’, the new one is out soon.. it just makes sense. And I hope the copyright issues won’t discourage you from keeping this up, like I’ve seen with other channels🙏🏻👊

I'm looking forward to "Blade" for sure, because if you continue with the franchise, it will lead to Guillermo del Toro's "Blade II" (2002)

Guston Zimasheen

Always bet on Schmitt. I was actually saying "Always bet on Black" during a livestream earlier this morning when they went to a casino in GTA.

Guston Zimasheen

Yeah Blade !!! The Daywalker is on the Channel ;)

Florian Meier

You guys have to watch Passenger 57 on the channel. Great movie and one of the best Wesley Snipes quotes of all time: Snipes: You ever play roulette? Bad guy: On occasion. Snipes: Always bet on black.

Alex

Great line-up! A lot of people sleep on Johnny Depp's haunting performance in another gangster movie called "Black Mass" (2015). Please put it on your list to watch. If you poll it, I don't think it will win. Its not very well known. The story is based on a real-life gangster Whitey Bulger.

Mr. Writhms

BLADE!!!

Philip Alan

All right! Watching both movies this week!!

Donna Castellano

Off topic question but have y'all ever done a ranking (maybe into tiers) of all the shows and movies you've watched on the channel? If not, would you consider doing it in the future? I would love to know which movies/shows you've enjoyed the most, which were the funniest or scariest, or which characters you liked the most, which villains were the best, etc.

Don

Brudders and sisters, finally, finally we got Donnie Brasco. I liked Johnny Depp, but anytime someone gets into a big commercial role, and quits acting, I dismiss them. Dan and Sam, if you haven't watched Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, yet. I recommend you check it out. For me personally, other than Dead Man, it's a career defining role. Some may say pirates of the Caribbean, but me I say hunter s. Thompson. And he broke the rule, he made the movie while Thompson was still alive.

Jeremy Charlie

Dude, Blade is one of the coolest movies I've ever gotten to see. I was already a fan of Wesley Snipes, but that movie was just pure perfection, just about. I can't WAIT.

EdmanXERO

My favorite Johnny Depp film! Excellent.
