Because it is the best movie of all the movies.

Amazing!!! This is a classic and influenced so many movies. It's crazy and fun and frightening and disurbing and holy cow. Thanks so much.

That’s a unique choice, and I look forward to seeing the reaction. Haven’t watched it in many years.

I’m creating a movie for my drawing and I’m going on the animation of my drawing for my next project I want to make it for the teens so I’ll send a message about how children need something like this to make them happy so they can be happy

I've never seen If, but I've heard good things about it. My nomination for the monthly Schmitthead poll remains Network (1976).

If you grew up going to a posh school in the UK (as I am ashamed to say I did, essentially squandering a huge amount of my parent's money on an education I wasn't interested in and scraping by doing the bare minimum, I hated the ****ing place) "If . . ." is revelatory. It sums so much up about those institutions. It's weird, and dark, and funny, and traumatic, and off putting, and seductive, and ultimately deeply deeply shocking).

Good choice, I've tried to suggest it other places but it never gets any traction. Some of the best cinematography ever put on film, and some amazing performances. I get why it's maybe not the best reaction bait, but it's so good and flies under the radar so much

Hoopla is definitely more hit and miss.

Obviously, there are some things that are being suggested that I'm not a fan of or not interested in, but I really think that of all the reaction channels, Dan and Sam have cultivated one of the most film-literate audiences around. The suggestions in those monthly posts are almost always remarkably varied and filled with great deep cuts.

Kanopy is good but I have heard Hoopla does not have great image quality. In any case, it is in fact available on Amazon digitally, which I think would be best (although you may have to go through JustWatch to bring it up).

Also, if you're in the US and your library is affiliated with Kanopy and/or Hoopla, it's on both services.

there is ONE other reaction on youtube. and there is a reactor that watched the movie but didn't release a YouTube version. so now there are three in the entire world! the ending, with Song for Bob playing, just heartbreaking.

I had to dig back to see if they'd reacted to A Clockwork Orange (I couldn't remember because I hate that movie), but I'm super looking forward to If... great pick, iliketostayhome!

I am totally biased as it was my choice but agreed, it is criminally unwatched in the Reaction-verse

Oh man had no idea that Assassination of Jesse James was coming up. One of my all time favorite movies and I've been hoping someone would react to it someday. Joined at a good time

Mad respect to the person that chose this movie. I doubt anyone would ever react to it otherwise.
