Y'all should check out the unabridged audio book. It features a large ensemble voice cast including Nathan Fillion (Firefly series) and director Martin Scorsese.

I know most times when people say, "Never remake a classic!!", they're right. But the 1990 remake of Night Of the Living Dead is fantastic, it stays faithful to the original and stars Tony Todd!!!

Daniel was extra funny in this one with the teeth comment and his impression of Sam's scream during the recap LMAO:D

Dawn of the Dead (2004) is awesome. Also had hints of Contagion, which is also great but may be triggering because of the pandemic.

the movie is different from the book. the book is slow zombies told as a nonfiction historical interview style document. but... the movie stands on its own as a great zombie/pandemic movie. i read the book first and loved it, then when the movie came out i also loved it. while the movie is a completely separate thing from the book, it takes the same base concept of "what if this actually happened?", and paints a picture that you can relate to. WWZ is certainly a classic.

Just a heads up that you have the wrong year in the title, it's meant to be 2013 :)

I think that guy in the pharmacy said, "Apparently they grow out of it" (the asthma).

One of the most thrilling horror films involving infection is a Spanish movie called Rec (2007) and it's probably one of the most terrifying films I've ever seen.

Sometimes, after a particularly harrowing movie, I like to kick back with a feel good movie to help cleanse the palate, and clear the mind. And after Million Dollar Baby, World War Z and its fast-running killer zombies, sounds like a good choice...

At some point, you should definitely check out George Romero's zombie trilogy: Night of the Living Dead (1968), Dawn of the Dead (1978), and Day of the Dead (1985).

Also Dawn of the Dead (2004). That's my all time favourite zombie movie.

3 different versions by the sounds of things? The Theatrical, The Unrated, and the Inflight Movie version? jk

For more zombie action I recommend the Resident Evil movies!

This is the theatrical version, in case anyone's wondering, which I'm glad I spent the past few days hunting down! Can't wait to watch this with you later!

Compared to Million Dollar Baby, this is a happy, upbeat good time. Think I'll watch this one!
