Help pick the Horror movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

We received a ton suggestions on the last polls, but we are trying to keep the poll sizes more reasonable. We have noted all suggestions for future polls!

Comments

Outpost is one of my favourite horrors involving nazi enemy's, with a very creepy but coll atmosphere. With some British actors too

Joe

have faith... they do make executive decisions.

YoureMrLebowski

Yikes!!! What a movie, haven't watched it but once. So I can imagine this will definitely be interesting πŸ˜†

Kalesha Brown

New member here! πŸ‘‹ Glad to contribute and be apart of a poll, but I was actually terrified for all these choices, so it was hard for me to decide πŸ˜‚ but I still picked one πŸ™ˆ Can't wait to see what y'all decide and with that I will be tuned in because I enjoy you guys' reactions πŸ˜…β€οΈπŸ‘

Kalesha Brown

I'm kinda scared they might've already seen them outside of the channel lol 😭πŸ₯²

Kalesha Brown

Triangle (2009) Troll Hunter (2011) Bliss (2019)

James Rogers

There’s plenty of time left, but it’s looking strong for Midsommer. And assuming that, I’m already looking forward to Sam and Dan’s reaction. It’s an unusual ride. 😢

David Wilkins

The Omen is a classic. I hope it wins

Stanley Etienne

Where’s the rest of the Scream films on this poll??? 😏

Tristan Durant

Hellraiser all the way!!! The horror films that are winning on this list are all kiddie films. Its ridiculous!!!

Demos Samolis

I always thought The Omen was kind of trashy. On the other hand, the movie got Richard Donner the directing job for Superman.

John Fitzpatrick

I second the motion.

John Fitzpatrick

Yeah I remember that too. Great reaction, really tough for Sam to watch. It really is a well made, dreadful movie.

PIG

I love vampire movies and those two go up in my favorite three. So awesome.

PIG

I picked a few of these, but.... how many years will Fright Night go up and not win the vote on TBR Schmitt lol? How many years?!?! "You have to have FAITH for this to work on me!"

PIG

High Tension for sure. Pin, I'll check that out.

PIG

I'd like to suggest 'High Tension' (2003) and for Daniel, 'Pin' (1988) for a future Horror Poll.

Mark M

β€œSalem’s Lot” (1979)

Jeff Mills

Hell (raiser) Yeah!!

Guston Zimasheen

While technically well-made, I've never enjoyed Midsommer and am disappointed that it's winning the poll. Hellraiser all the way!

Joshua Nelson

X is pretty good, but Pearl is even better. If more people vote for X, we might get Pearl sooner. πŸ˜‰

Brandon

The Lost Boys (1987) my favorite vampire movie, by far. but in a firm second place, Fright Night (1985).

YoureMrLebowski

Love The Others! Underrated classic ghost story!

Catherine LW

Midsommer. Theatrical cut.

Odd Thomas

Barbarian all day long

Nick of Time

I'm glad Midsommer is tied for the lead, but the original The Wicker Man is a must see. The Omen is okay, but it has a made-for-TV feel to it that takes away from its emotional punch.

Michael Buhl

Watching "The Omen": you can close your eyes and the Oscar-winning Jerry Goldsmith music score alone is enough to scare you. Scariest movie music ever...!

Mr. Writhms

If Midsommer wins you really should see The Wicker Man also. I won't say Midsommer is a copy or derivative of it, but it clearly (IMHO) got many of it's themes from it. Christopher Lee has said it's his favorite movie that he's been in.

Samolina Pilchard

The Omen has my vote

christopher brown

i can't help but think back with fond memories of their Hereditary reaction.

YoureMrLebowski

The Creepy Older One !!! The Scene in The Hospital ;)

Florian Meier

Suggestions: "The Changeling" (1980) "Ghost Story" (1981) "The Keep" (1983) "The Frighteners" (1996)(Director's Cut or Theatrical Cut are both good) "Salem's Lot" (1979)(TV Movie) "Pet Sematary" (1989) (although it might be tough on new parents) "X-The Man With the X-Ray Eyes" (1963) "The Exorcist" (1973)(Director's Cut) Although it may be too tough for some.

Miles E Coburn

Haven't seen that one myself Now Cube, of the same year, I'd vote for that one

mikethemotormouth

Fright Night a great blend of comedy and thriller.

Grinznmore

Omen for me, I used to have the dvd collection and it folded out to an upside cross lol

ElmSt Reactions

If Midsommer doesn’t win then I’ll have to choose is as my monthly drawing pick in perpetuity until it does. It’s time to get Sam to freak the fuck out again! Haha

Sergeant Pepper

The birthday party young one or the creepy older one later on?

Aaron Barlow

We always knew you were a Satanist lol. Nah doesn't sound bad, I loved The Omen growing up. Number 2 is great as well, I even enjoyed number 3. Sam Neill is fantastic.

Aaron Barlow

Would love to see how Cure (1997) would do from the community on a future Horror poll.

Look out, Arbogast!

Totally Agree !! What a Classic ... Never forget the Scene with the Housekeeper

Florian Meier

Wish Barbarian was placed higher. I think that reaction will be wild to watch! Otherwise would suggest The Ritual (2017) or The Night House (2020), both from director David Bruckner.

Michael SCH

The Omen (and its offspring) are a fond part of my childhood... okay. That sounded bad. But they're really really good! (Sorry, Pinhead. My vote's all for Damien!)

Jay Davis

Can you guys please react to Dog soldiers? A fun action/horror British film.

Aaron Barlow

The Omen is a classic, right up there with The Exorcist in the pantheon of pioneering horror cinema.

Aaron Barlow

Some personal favorites: The Others (2001) The Mothman Prophecies (2002) The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)

Domino

Glad I don't seem to be alone in rooting for The Invisible Man. A particularly inspired contemporary update of a classic concept.

Tyler Foster

FYI, Hush is a Netflix original that they removed from their service after the license expired and it never even got a physical release either(which I'm sure pains Mike Flanagan). It's like it never existed, which apparently can happen to any of these original streaming titles(look at the Willow series on Disney+)

Birdie Num Num

The Omen and Fright Night are my favorites here

Florian Meier

For future polls? CREEPSHOW (1982) written by Stephen King, directed by George Romero, starring.....everybody! lol.

Toc

X would be cool, but you'll need to follow it up with Pearl almost immediately to be ready when Maxxxine drops in a few weeks.
