The showrunners have acknowledged the big influence that The Good, the Bad and the Ugly had on their story, right down to its trio of protagonists all on the same quest. There are several scenes in future episodes that pay direct homage to TGTB&TU.

I'm surprised she didn't get the Junk Jet. It was at the top of what she was looking at inside the store it was 280 caps I think.. She just went out with that gun that she had. So Maximus is aware of ghouls but not THE Ghoul. There are a lot of ghouls in Fallout, and there are also feral ghouls who are ghouls that have completely lost their minds and are like zombies that move pretty quickly (like in 28 Days Later). Maximus actually told her to take him inside while he dealt with "the" ghoul. That's not to say that he doesn't know who The Ghoul is. He's in the Brotherhood of Steel and they have their own world. *shrugs* It's interesting coz in Fallout 4 I believe you interact with a cowboy type character in a town that looks very much like Filly, but he's a synth, not a ghoul. A synth being like an android or something.
