Adventure Film Poll!

Help pick the Adventure movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

*NOTE: Sam has seen The NeverEnding Story & National Treasure, so this would only be my first time watching.

We received a ton suggestions on the last polls, but we are trying to keep the poll sizes more reasonable. We have noted all suggestions for future polls!

Comments

Have you ever seen Legend? if not, it's a good one!

Claudia☕

Pretty sure "Captain Ron" is not an adventure movie.

Jeff Bosnyak

Into the Wild is a great film

ZoeLo

the Edge is such an underrated adventure movie!

James

Disappointed to come on here and find some average slop like National Treasure is in the lead. I think Tintin is an exceptional action film with some eye popping scenes with the Spielberg flair.

Mike LL

Captain Ron is a comedy and very funny

Red

Captain Ron is probably better suited for a comedy poll than an adventure poll.

Tyler Foster

Yes !! Love Both

Florian Meier

Is there a reason The Last of The Mohicans is never in the Adventure polls? Maybe you've seen it already and that's why, but if you haven't then it should be in every one until it wins.

Paul Cox

The Ghost in the Darkness and The 13th Warrior are must see movies in my opinion.

Mayan Luevano

The Edge is soo good

Miggie88

When I was a kid back in the 80s, if I had a good week in school, my mom would take me to Safeway and let me rent one movie. Of course, being a grocery store, it had horrible selection, but it had 20,000 leagues. I would rent that one all the time.

Reed James

voted for 20,000 leagues under the Sea... I was 8 when I saw it in the Theater.... when squid attack came I left the theater and waited in the Lobby. : )

Charles Mitchell

Yes in deed. Just goes to show us he was in a lot of great movies, over 40 years of movies to pick from.

Keith Brown

Although, I would prefer to see them watch the version from 1934 that V from (V for Vendetta) liked, starring Robert Donat before the modern version.

Long-time Sci-Fi Enthusiast

I saw Time Bandits in theaters when it first came out (I was 11) and it's remained one of my favorite movies ever since. I've hit hero status with nephews, nieces, and the kids of friends when babysitting after showing them this. This movie is pure, imaginative fun

Smooticus

Once again, a lot of really good choices. I had to limit my votes to Time Bandits, The man Who Would be King, and Tintin

Smooticus

Don't forget he's also in Time Bandits - which is also a choice on this list

Smooticus

one of my favorites

Smooticus

Too bad 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea isn't doing better. It is such a masterpiece that runs the gamut of emotions and is a real classic. Maybe it can be in another poll of older films.

Eric

Never mind, I can now. Weird.

Scott Greene

I'm not able to select anything.

Scott Greene

Is Krull missing from this list? or is that more of a Fantasy Adventure?

Nick of Time

The Man Who Would Be King could lead you into checking out many more Sean Connery movies. I know many have seen The Rock and The Hunt for Red October but his catalog of movies does go further back and not just the Bond movies. One of my all time favorites The Wind and the Lion came out the same year 1975 as The Man Who Would Be King , a great double feature night at the movies !!

Keith Brown

Come on 13th warrior, a all tome favourite

Deano

Some good ones here so should be good no matter what wins 👍 I never ofc pick the winner ever so I'm keeping quiet on what I clicked 😃

Ian

"The Ghost and The Darkness" got my Vote ... but i think "Never Ending Story" Runs away

Florian Meier

You can vote for more than one! Give Man Who Would Be King a vote! It still won't win, but at least we get a gauge on who has seen it and who hasn't. Because as I'm sure you agree, to have seen that movie is to love it. (Not a knock on Time Bandits, of course. But MWWBK is on a whole other level. I saw both as a kid, when they came out......and even then, I would never have compared the two, MWWBK is the much superior film)

Toc

I hope "The Count of Monte Cristo" is added to future polls.

norms

I voted Captain Ron HAH

Mike the Ginger

The Man Who Would Be King is one of the best pure adventure stories I've ever seen. But I don't think most people have seen it, so they won't vote for it, so I voted for Time Bandits.

Mark Kelso

The Man Who Would Be King! Epic!

Catherine LW

Neverending story is some classic kid traumatizing old Disney style stuff …. It’s great

Randy Torres

Holy smokes! The Man Who Would Be King! Wow! Anyone who hasn't seen that movie, go watch it now. That is a great one. Sean Connery and Michael Caine, 1975, directed by John Huston. Must-see. One of each of those guys' best. Would be surprised if it won the poll, but that's a really great movie. That's one for the Wheel!

Toc

Thanks for including "The Man Who Would Be King" in this list. It won't win, but it's true adventure.

David Martin

The NeverEnding Story is legendary. I hope it wins so I can sing along. Haha.

EdmanXERO

I second this

Philip Alan

Time Bandits is so dang good, one of Terry Gilliam's best!

kbobravo

OMG, Captain Ron is great

Mike Adams

Im going for "The Ghost And The Darkness" Its based on a true story!
