Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

*NOTE: I have seen Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, IP Man & Warrior, so this would only be Sam's first time reaction.

We received a ton suggestions on the last polls, but we are trying to keep the poll sizes more reasonable. We have noted all suggestions for future polls!

I love Fist of Legend! I'm sad that it doesn't have very many votes.

Claudia☕

Oh yes, good suggestion. Haven't seen any popular reactors watching it yet. It's more of a drama film than martial arts (wrestling). Recommend it anyways.

[suggestion] Would love to see you react to "Best of the Best" (1989). It's a classic MA movie to me that I watched first in my childhood and has James Earl Jones, Eric Roberts, Chris Penn, Sally Kirkland and the brothers Phillip and Simon Rhee and in it. Cobra Kai had a small mention/nod to it in one of the late seasons.

Land

I would have suggest American Ninja or Shogun Assassin :)

esclad

C.T.H.D. , is a classic, really like it

Will Zamora

Yes, Showdown in Little Tokyo in 1991 and Rapid Fire in 1992

Brandon N.

You're referring to Showdown in Little Tokyo(1991), yes? With Dolph Lundgren? And is that Rapid Fire(1989)? Or 1992?

mikethemotormouth

I am so glad we would be going strait to the 1994 Legend of the Drunken Master and skipping the 1978 Drunken Master, which I will not watch again.

Nick Parker

Lionheart, A Little Showdown in Tokyo, Rapid Fire

Brandon N.

Agreed. Not on a lot of people's radar but its great.

Ed R

Hard Target (1993) one of Van Damme's best IMO

christopher brown

I know it's not martial arts, but as a strong recommendation for a film based around a fighter (sort of), "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke, is an amazing film.

Eric J Watkins

Kickboxer!!! Yes please. I been requesting another Van Damme movie forever now!!!

Demos Samolis

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a masterpiece and one of my top 5 favorite movies. Probably the best fight scene ever.

bosho11

I can't seem to find Shaolin Soccer on the list.

Mr. Chumpus

An underrated Jet Li gem

Richard

suggestion for a future poll : Kiss of the Dragon

Ed R

Every one of you guys have to see The Myth. It is by far the best movie on this list. When it comes to Kung Fu movies, I don't say something like this lightly because I love them all, but there a few that stand out: The Myth, Crouching Tiger (of course), House of Flying Daggers.. For some reason I can't remember the 4th one. It's one of the Bruce Lee/Jet Li films I think. But the above three are by far the top tier. I'm surprised House of Flying Daggers isn't on the list. I know I've requested The Myth before. But yeah regardless even if it doesn't win. I'm not asking anyone to vote for it. I'm telling all of you, you have to watch it :) In original language with subtitles. Half the movie is in English, but I've always thought dubs kind of ruin the audio. I wanna hear Jackie Chan not some other guy.

Alex

Kickboxer is a Van Damme classic.

Aaron Barlow

Great action comedy. Delicious 80s cheese.

Aaron Barlow

Ip Man is insanely good.

Aaron Barlow

"Fist of Legend" is one of the best kung fu movies ever made, displaying different styles of fighting. And it's a remake of Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury".

Mr. Writhms

Note: Legend of Drunken Master is the English dubbed Miramax cut of Drunken Master 2. If at all possible, you should see the original version in Cantonese with subtitles. It's one of Jackie Chan's very best and you don't have to see the first one to understand it (although it's also highly recommended).

Brad P

I hope The Raid wins because I've been using that as my monthly Schmitthead request. XD LET'S GO RAID!

EdmanXERO

The Way of the Dragon is losing, you two are going to miss out on the epic fight between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris.

Sylvan Green

If you liked Dredd, you'll definitely like The Raid.

Jeffrey Miller

So many great choices here I think it's going to be a close one 👍 personally hoping crouching tiger wins and leads to house of flying daggers both visually stunning movies

Ian

Even though it is on the more hokey side, I would highly recommend the movie The Last Dragon from 1985. I would also recommend Under Siege from 1992 which is another fun ride.

Torben Dix

Lone Wolf McQuade. A great 80s movie. The most chuck Norris movie ever.

Rokkor X

I win "The Raid" has 100% of votes...close the polls now.
