2024-01-27 01:50:42 +0000 UTCAccording to their official history website, the 100th Bomb Group (which the show is about) was called the "Bloody 100th"--it suffered the highest loss rate of any air force unit in WW2, the group strength was 36 aircraft divided into four squadrons, its TOTAL losses were 177 aircraft!!! Holy crap, thats a 497% loss ratio!!
