F/VoH Ch 76: Jet Aircraft

Ryan moved forward with a steady stride, as if he already knew the direction he was headed, even though it was his first time setting foot in this part of the city.

After a while, they finally arrived in front of an old building that looked abandoned, its walls covered in graffiti, windows shattered, and covered in dust and cobwebs. Ryan paused for a moment, staring at the building with an expression that was hard to interpret.

"Go in," Ryan muttered briefly, and the two of them stepped through the rickety wooden door that was nearly falling apart. The room inside was dark and damp, illuminated only by a few dim lights coming through the cracks in the walls. Ryan surveyed the surroundings, his eyes narrowing as he noticed a few people sitting in the corner of the room, watching them suspiciously. However, Ryan didn’t care.

Without hesitation, Ryan continued deeper into the building, heading towards a large hall further inside. The room was empty, its walls cracked, and the floor covered in thick dust. On one wall, there was a large image that was almost faded.

The image depicted someone with a bow and arrow, standing on something that looked like a giant bird—but as Ryan looked closer, he realized it wasn’t a bird at all, but a fighter jet, an image that shouldn’t exist in this world.

Ryan stared at the picture with mixed feelings. As someone who had long been immersed in this world, Ryan knew exactly what he was seeing. A world that often called upon beings from other dimensions to become heroes, frequently leaving traces from their original worlds. And of course, one of those objects from another dimension was now right before Ryan's eyes.

A Jet Aircraft. But not just any ordinary jet—this was a highly advanced Jet Aircraft from the future, something that even in Ryan's original world, existed only in the dreams of scientists. The aircraft was more than just a vehicle; it was a living weapon, equipped with capabilities that were beyond comprehension.

In the midst of the chaos of the slums of Powncrow City, this object was hidden like a forgotten treasure. The Jet Aircraft had abilities that could make an ordinary person shiver just by imagining them.

One of them was its incredible speed—so fast that it could circle the entire planet in just 11 hours and 30 minutes. A speed that defied logic, challenged the laws of nature, and proved that this object did not originate from Ryan's world.

Ryan let out a long breath, feeling the tension in his chest. Part of him resisted using the aircraft. Ryan knew that in the future, Evans—the hero of this world—would use this aircraft to save many lives. But now, circumstances forced Ryan's hand.

The leader of the rebels in Bertord City was in danger, and Ryan knew he had to act quickly. Time was not on Ryan's side, and the options were narrowing.

Ryan could feel doubt creeping into his mind. Would this decision affect the fate of the future? By using this aircraft, was Ryan altering the course of history that was meant to happen? Yet, at the same time, Ryan realized that without swift action, more lives would be lost, and the budding rebellion could be crushed before its time.

Ryan clenched his fists tightly. Sometimes, saving the future meant making sacrifices in the present. And the aircraft, while becoming an important part of Evans' story later, was now Ryan's only hope of reaching Bertord City before it was too late.

“There’s no time left,” Ryan murmured to himself, reassuring himself of the decision he had made.

Ryan calmly stepped towards the stone wall in front of him. Nothing seemed suspicious about the wall, as if it were just an ordinary solid stone. But Ryan knew better than that.
