2023-11-12 19:28:06 +0000 UTCFantastic reaction guys as you say a refreshing revenge movie and I was surprised how great it was I had no expectations going in and as the movie goes on it gets better and better π comparing to John wick is natural tbh similar with the extraction movies which are fantastic and ones you gotta check out trust me you loved this and the wick movies so no way on earth you wouldn't love extraction π cheers for the fun guys and yes Sam the soundtrack is great just perfect for the movie π

I know.. it doesn't matter. Just you know...it MATTERS TO ME !! But really this was one of the best reactions I have ever seen. Sam seemed sorta bloodthirsty.

Like, there's no stupid assassin hotel and ridiculous attempts at creating lore. This film basically says, "Yeah, we're not going to try and rationalize something that is absurd on its face." So much more entertaining than John Wick.

And some of the John Wick stunt team members also worked on this one. Bob Odenkirk went through heavy fight training. Itβs too bad this movie didnβt get the attention it deserved because they released it during the pandemic and hardly anyone went to the theater to see it.

Along with Hutch feeding the cat, other examples include: John Wick's beagle Don Corleone playing with a cat Princess Mia Thermopolis with Fat Louie Ron Burgundy with Baxter Cliff Booth's awesome pitbull Brandy π

The scene where the villain just whips the chair at his henchmen in the hospital...looks so real, makes me cringe in pain every time. Good shit.

I remember reading an autobiography of a Navy Seal where he said a 20 year veteran would basically get massacred by a fresh recruit if he hadn't done any fighting in over a year, you have to train those skills regularly. All the movies where some old dude breaks out his military badass assassin history are nonsense, it all fades crazy fast. Taken is basically bullshit. Getting busted up and thrown out a bus window was perfect. Also seeing Christopher Lloyd again is great, I honestly assumed he was dead before this movie came out. That dude looked 60 in Back to the Future, and that was in the 80's. Nursing home scene with the thugs could be the best couple minutes of the whole movie.
