Great reactions, Sam and Dan (as usual!)!
In your reaction to the first “Equalizer” you had mentioned doing a list of other Denzel Washington movies. Here’s three of my favorites:
“Book of Eli” (2010) – Post-apocalyptic story also starring Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, Ray Stevenson
“Unstoppable” (2010) – Action / Suspense story about a runaway train in Pennsylvania. Based on a true story. Also starring Chris Pine and Rosario Dawson
“Remember the Titans” (2000) – Another “based on a true story” movie about a high school football team. Also starring, Will Patton

The most iconic scene of this film is the conversation with Robert in Dave's kitchen about the morality of combat. I remember watching that scene in 2018, and I couldn't help but think that this was the conversation that every General and Admiral in the United States Military was having with everyone in their command about following legal orders. It's been the emphasis of the last seven years and will continue to be a part of the military culture in the U.S. for the next decade.

So rare the sequel is ever as good as the first. It's the reason there is a 2nd, because the 1st was so epic. Still a good film if you enjoy this universe though.

Robert went from working at Home Depot to driving for Lyft. I think next he's gonna be working at Burger King having to slice up some Karens that are yelling at the teen workers who didn't provide enough ranch for their fries. Just a guess

Yeah, flour explosions are a thing. Granaries and mills have the potential for explosions. See this for more info: https://recipes.howstuffworks.com/tools-and-techniques/question150.htm
"It only takes 1 or 2 grams of dust per cubic foot of air (50 or so grams per cubic meter) for the mixture to be ignitable."

The fight scene in the car with the 360 degree camera move was most likely inspired by a similar, incredibly violent scene in the Korean thriller, I Saw the Devil.

You might have missed it, but the movie reveals that Robert is from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) when they show Dave's office. We're not supposed to know about the work they do, but they've been really busy since 1.06.21 and should have plenty of work for the next few years without most of us ever hearing about it.
