2023-09-23 23:32:01 +0000 UTCAt the risk of giving away any spoilers ( that's some of the fun with these movies, is seeing which "old action star " pops up, I don't want to drop names of who else to check out before watching. I'll leave that up to you, to decide if you want to check out the cast list for each movie on imdb 🙂 but even if you haven't seen some other movies, I think you've seen enough to cover a lot of the cast, and be able to recognize faces and names of others 😉 Definitely looking forward to watching these with you. The newest 4th installment should be out now or in a couple days I believe, so its a great time to get caught up! 🙂

2023-09-23 23:22:41 +0000 UTCOther recommendations... Both of The Raid films. Jackie Chan's Police Story 1-3 (he made other Police Story films but the rest don't match the original trilogy). Normally the first two action films I would recommend to anyone are John Woo's The Killer and Hard Boiled. Unfortunately there's currently a rights issue that makes them not easy to see.
