Ryan stared at the white floor beneath him, grappling with the decision he had to make. Should Ryan involve the Elves in his plan? Or would it be safer to focus solely on the rebel forces? After a moment of deep thought, Ryan finally made up his mind.
"Alright," Ryan murmured, more to himself. "I will involve both—the Elves and the rebel forces."
Ellina and Charlotte exchanged glances, reading Ryan's decision through his sharp expression. Meanwhile, Rosseline, who had been exploring the white room, glanced over, listening to Ryan's decision. In Ryan's mind, he knew that the more chaotic the situation in the Polons Capital, the greater the chance to complete the mission and escape undetected.
Now, Ryan's plan had changed. Whatever happened in the capital, Ryan was ready to seize every opportunity that arose—both from the rebel forces and from the Elves seeking justice for their race.
Ryan nodded slowly, his gaze distant, trying to analyze the situation more deeply. "Elves from the Elent Forest Elf Kingdom, huh?" Ryan murmured, then folded his arms across his chest.
Ryan had suspected the involvement of the Elves from the Elent Kingdom, given its geographical proximity to the Polons Kingdom. The Elent Forest Elf Kingdom was indeed known as a land full of mystery, especially now when its Elf Queen was suffering from a strange illness with no cure.
Even so, Ryan was not overly concerned about that kingdom. After all, Ryan knew that the main characters in the grand narrative of this world would eventually find a way to heal the queen. Thus, any involvement from the Elent Kingdom was more of a minor distraction to Ryan's plans.
"Yes, Young Master Ryan," Ellina said with a tone of confidence. "These Elves are most likely from the Elent Forest Elf Kingdom. They are known as very loyal forest guardians. From what we've heard, the Guardian Elves circulating around the Black Market of the Polons Kingdom are Forest Elves."
Ryan pondered that explanation for a moment, strategizing in his mind. "Hmph... Then, what is the stance of the other kingdoms surrounding Polons?" Ryan asked, wanting to gain a broader picture of the ongoing political dynamics.
Ellina thought for a moment, analyzing the information she knew. "As for the Dement Kingdom, their stance seems quite passive on the surface. However, from several reports we've received, they have likely sent spies into the Polons Kingdom. Their goal is to exacerbate the already tense situation in the Polons Kingdom."
Ryan nodded slowly. "Of course. The Dement Kingdom always plays behind the scenes," Ryan murmured. "The more chaotic the Polons Kingdom becomes, the more benefits they can reap without having to get directly involved."
Ryan stared at the floor for a moment, reflecting, before his gaze returned to Ellina. "We must take advantage of this situation. If the Dement Kingdom has sent spies, then they could be a useful tool to achieve our goals. Are there any other signs of their involvement?"
"Nothing significant yet, but we are continuing to monitor their movements," Ellina replied.
Ryan then fell silent for a moment, sinking back into his thoughts. The involvement of the Guardian Elves, the rebel forces, and now the spies from neighboring kingdoms like Dement opened various opportunities for Ryan. Now Ryan just needed to carefully choose which allies and enemies he would leverage.
"I understand. Continue your monitoring. We will prepare to move soon," Ryan said, his tone cold and firm.
"As for the Todres Kingdom, they seem calm, too calm," Ellina's voice sounded firm yet gentle as she continued her analysis.
