F/Voh Ch 72: Elf Race

"However, the core strength of the rebel forces remains hidden, and it is said that they will not stop until the current King, along with the summoned Heroes, is killed." Ellina continued casually.

Ryan's face remained calm, but the look in his eyes darkened, clearly processing every detail that had just been conveyed. "I understand," Ryan said quietly, then directed his question to Charlotte, "What about the heroes?"

Charlotte, who always enjoyed details, looked at Ryan firmly before beginning her report. "The heroes are undergoing intensive training. They are participating in physical training and combat in a special training room located in the Royal Palace."

"Additionally, they are scheduled to go to the Monster Tower soon to strengthen themselves and gain experience. Currently, the Monster Tower in the Capital of the Polons Kingdom is heavily guarded. No one is allowed to enter while the heroes are inside." Charlotte continued in a calm tone.

"Hmm..." Ryan murmured, a serious expression on his face. It was clear that Ryan seemed lost in thought, trying to plan the next steps. The subtle movement of Ryan's fingers on his chin indicated that he was considering various scenarios.

In the corner of the room, Rosseline, who had not received any attention from them since the beginning, looked around with a bored expression. Feeling ignored by the three of them, Rosseline chose to start exploring this white world.

Ryan's gaze swept across the boundless space, as if searching for something interesting within the mysterious dimension. "Does this place have an end?" Rosseline murmured quietly to herself, feeling curious.

Meanwhile, Ryan squinted, looking at Ellina with an attentive gaze. "What about the news or rumors circulating in the Black Market?" Ryan asked in a low tone, as if he suspected something important would be revealed.

Ellina nodded, her expression serious, then began to speak. "There are some interesting rumors, but the most striking one is about the Elves."

"Elves?" Ryan repeated in surprise, his eyes immediately narrowing sharply at Ellina. As a race known for their sensitivity, the topic of Elves rarely comes up in conversation, especially in the black market.

Elves, particularly Forest Elves, are highly respected—and feared. They are known to worship nature, protecting their ancient forests with all the abilities they possess. If their forests or fellow Elves are threatened, they can transform from a peaceful race into a ruthless force of destruction, unhesitatingly committing slaughter in the name of revenge.

The Elf race almost never involves itself in the affairs of other races unless forced to. That is what surprised Ryan. He knew that if Elves had entered this territory, there must be a significant problem occurring, especially in the Polons Kingdom, which was already under tension. And with the presence of Elves, that tension would surely escalate.

"There are reports saying that some Elves have been enslaved and traded in the Capital of the Polons Kingdom. Several eyewitnesses have seen guard Elves wandering in the capital, apparently searching for those Elves who have been sold into slavery." Ellina's tone hardened, indicating the seriousness of the situation.

Ryan took a deep breath. This was a very complicated situation. The Elf race is notoriously difficult to negotiate with, especially if offended. If they find their allies or kin enslaved, they will not remain silent. And dealing with Elves as enemies? That is more than just a regular problem—it is a disaster that could engulf the entire kingdom.

Ryan's mind raced quickly, considering all possibilities. His plan to go to the Capital of the Polons Kingdom was already quite risky, but if it involved the Elves and the rebel forces, it would become far more complicated.
