Creature/Beast/Animal Film Poll!

Help pick the Creature/Beast/Animal movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

*NOTE: I have seen Reign of Fire, Kong, & Godzilla, so this would only be Sam's first time reaction.

Ive been recomending the Game and The Edge forever

James

How about the original King Kong (1933)? And a great survival movie is The Edge with Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin and Bart The Bear (the Robert De Niro of bear actors).

Neal Romanek

I had to vote Snakes on a Plane :D

Mike the Ginger

Most definitely lol

Brian Anthony

Honestly I'm almost more eager to see their reaction to the movie than I am in seeing the movie itself! :)

Scott Kerr

WOW..snakes on a plane actually has the lead lol. That would be quite a reaction

Brian Darty

So many great choices. I'd go with the Godzilla and Kong movies for the massive grudge match in the GODZILLA VS. KONG movie. Alone. Motherfucking alone!

Philip Davetas

I wonder if they've seen the original King Kong (1933), probably the original creature feature and considered one of the greatest films of all time.

Birdie Num Num

Jaws 2 is underrated. Not many react to it. It was the highest grossing sequel of all time when it came out. Also Piranha 3D(2010) would be a pretty amusing reaction(from the director of Crawl). Surprised Anaconda and Deep Blue Sea didn't make the poll.

Birdie Num Num

Yeah if you are on these patreon channels and a big movie lover ,then many will have seen or heard of it ,but it is certainly much lesser known to the average person I absolutely love the movie ,rewatch it every year without fail ,I even got a reaction of it done on a "request tier" on another channel ,it would be a real treat to see Daniel&Sam react to it

Duncan

Absolutely brilliant viewing ,have seen it about 4 times ,it was "Grizzly Man" that really got me in to watching documentaries ,that and "The Cove (2009)" are two of my favourite animal based docs

Duncan

Wow, I thought no one had seen The Edge. I'm happy to see tons of people here love it too! I can rewatch it endlessly. Partly because of Anthony Hopkins' performance, and partly because it's my favourite screenplay by David Mamet, and that's saying something!

Future Boy

I love The Edge. It's probably in my top 20 all-time films. It will never win a poll; not enough people have seen it, or even know what it is. But trust me, just put it on the schedule! It's by far my favourite Anthony Hopkins film, and the character he plays is one of my favourite fictional characters in anything.

Future Boy

It's a documentary (which I don't think you guys have done any yet), but I recommend "Grizzly Man". Fascinating documentary by Werner Herzog (himself a well respected German film maker) about Timothy Treadwell, a man who spent several summers in the Alaskan wilderness amongst grizzly bears. Parts of it are hard to watch, though (or more specifically listen to). Still worth it.

Reign of Fire

Odd Thomas

For the Next Animal Film Poll i Recommend "The Ghost and the Darkness" from 1996 with Michael Douglas, "Turner and Hooch" from 1989 with Tom Hanks and "The Edge" from 1997 with Anthony Hopkins

Florian Meier

Some fun movies here but had to go for the giant gorilla 🦍 skull island for me although the meg is fun and I shall be watching meg 2 at some point 👍 only thing I remember about snakes on a plane was going in with high expectations and ending underwhelmed it was ok for me that's about it but maybe on a rewatch it may surprise me guess if it wins we shall see 👍

Ian

Samuel Jackson. That's all that needs to be said.

Athos Count de la Fère

Reign of fire is underrated. It was one of my inspirations for my career in 3d Animation.

Aaron Barlow

Another chip-in for The Edge. Good flick.

Mark Kelso

I think the Godzilla / Kong movies are going to be problematic for reactions. Other channels that have reacted to those movies are frequently flagged for copyright, etc.

Mario

Requesting to add "The Bear (1988)" to your next animal poll.

PIG

Have they seen the 2014 Godzilla? That's the first movie of the whole "MonsterVerse" series.

Nismo

Even though this may be a dog movie, I recommend Alpha (2018). I think it's very underrated.

Scott Kerr

If you don't want to do one you have already seen, I would go with Dragonheart. I think it is a highly forgotten and underrated movie, plus Sean Connery does voice acting... what could be better than that?

Vwlss Nvwls

Reign of Fire has some of the best dragon design, Christian Bale, Gerard Butler, and an almost unrecognizable Matthew McConaughey. Dragonheart is awesome, but I don't want to spoil anything. It's best to go in cold 🤘

ShadowVessel π

Crawl is underappreciated, and the results of this poll prove that.

Brandon Royce

Was hoping to see Willard(2003) Not enough Crispin Glover on the channel

mikethemotormouth

"The Edge (1997)" is a superb hidden gem animal movie ,Anthony Hopkins ,the Alaskan wilderness and Bart the bear ,what more can you ask for It is a must for a "Creature/Beast/Animal Film" poll

Duncan

😂😂 I just called out Daniel for leaving a spider film off this poll! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

I would suggest Kingdom of the Spiders with William Shatner but you've done Arachnophobia and The Mist so I think Daniel's been through enough

Jax

Reign of fire and Dragonhart are my favs on this list!

Chris Bruneau

It was funny when the whole internet forced the makers of Snakes on a Plane to insert a line of dialogue by popular demand, and then it was even funnier when they had to edit it for regular tv to "I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!" ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE MOVIE, though.

Paul Cox

I think Cocaine Bear and Snakes on a Plane should be a double feature lol

Samuel Bruce

The Edge (1997). Reign of Fire would be okay too. Godzilla or Kong is just too generic imo.

Heaby

The only time I’ve ever heard the work Krull is from How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days 😂 -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Krull is one of my favs and not enough people have seen it, but I think it would have a better chance in a fantasy poll

Jax

The Edge.

Paul Spacone

If Godzilla:KotM wins, then you have to watch Kong:SI first anyways cuz it’s part of the same universe

JayDee AhBooWan

The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) and The Edge (1997)
