"You're the granddaughter I always wanted, but was afraid to buy online."

"I haven't had a piece of pie like that since the Garden of Eden." What a fantastic line. I've watched this a bunch of times, and this is the first time I've paid attention. ๐ŸŽต I'm pleased to meet you! Hope you've guessed my name... ๐ŸŽต

OMG Sam is so right when she said "That was just the first five minutes of the show." Yes, it was closer to 10, still, the sentiment is spot on.... i felt like we'd been told such a complete story to lead up to that climax. Which is super clever because that is kinda what happened to both of their characters. They completely changed who they were in under a year. Congrats on the arrival of the Baby Schmitt. Sending love, and joy, and peace.

And Lester specifically picked out his old orange parka (the outfit of the "old Lester") from his basement that afternoon with the idea of using his wife as bait if the need arised. He's absolutely a monster.

Brad P

Lester is a monster. The way he set his wife up with the parka and even stopping her to have her put up her hood!! Lorne is at least honest about what he is.

Also, there is another counter scene on S3 that is one of my favorite of the entire series that also reminds me of Big Lebowski.

Ricardo Alanis

I concur with seasons 2 and 3. Season 5 is starting in a couple of months. There were some aspects of season 4 I enjoyed so Iโ€™m definitely willing to give S5 a chance.

Ricardo Alanis

Dude, chill!--S&D both specifically said they know about Lou in season-2

Chris Bruneau

Season 2 is my favorite but I'm a big supporter of Season 3 as well.

Brad P

The coffee shop conversation is so good because Lou is inadvertently giving a full rebuttal to Lorne's whole life ethos. Lorne sees himself as a predator; he's always on the hunt, and when he kills, it's only part of the natural order. He sees himself and everyone around him as just animals, and he embraces that. But Lou contradicts him; he says that animals only hunt for food, not pleasure. He describes the savagery he witnessed in Sioux Falls which went beyond animalistic and could only have been done by a man. You two are right that they had each other pegged from the moment Lorne sat down. And Lou got to give him a philosophical comeuppance that no one else had the experience or wisdom to deliver. Brilliant scene.

This is the episode that made me hate Lester. Up until this point I really liked Lester. I mean he gets an amazing new wife who's crazy about him, willing to lie for him (ultimate loyalty), and he is not only makes the decision to go cheat on her but then he's a complete coward and the opposite of what a man should be with a woman. And hats off to Daniel for noticing at the very start (of this episode) coz I didn't really see those things. But yeah very pissed at Lester and made me really hate the guy. Oh also I have been waiting a bit to comment on these starting last week since I literally drop everything I'm doing to watch them as soon as they drop coz I just love this show so much. DUDE... He had a choice... Turn left and lay this really hot woman (who granted, Vegas... probably a prostitute who may rob him blind once they enter his hotel room) or turn right and it's obvious that no good will come of it. I don't advocate for cheating but bro. Shoulda turned left.

Molly is my favourite Fargo character but I would say season 2 is my favourite. Can't wait to watch your reaction to it.

BAN! @Smooticus he is a spoiler asshole!! Who cant shut his dirty spoiler mouth up! This is the second time he is spoiling details about future events!

SGato!

They say in the outro that they already know this.

Brad P

Why spoil this?

UNC

take my word for it, you MUST continue with season 2!!!

Chris Bruneau

Not sure if you've already seen it, but he's the protagonist in season 2. Very unflappable

Smooticus

Without saying anything more than you've already heard, Lou Solverson is one of my favorite protagonists ever. As he proved with Malvo in this episode, he doesn't back down from anyone.

Brad P

During the time jump, Lorne went completely grey and lost the goofy bangs. Much improved.

Mr. Chumpus

Sam looks great! Perfect afterglow! Congrats again! Can't wait for all the Fargo!
