Huh, was surprised you guys seem to only know Natasha Lyonne from OITNB. Did you not see Russian Doll? That would be a good short tv series to tackle for the channel (also Poker Face, which is even shorter (so far)).

Paul Cox

Sunshine has been on a poll before and it got absolutely wrecked, but I love that movie so much.

Paul Cox

Still need to watch 1968's "Once Upon a Time in the West" one of the best Westerns of all time.. :D

Robert Smith

My favourite Guy Ritchie film is Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jnr and Jude Law.

Odd Thomas

Nice. I'd like to request Sunshine (2007) and Oblivion (2014). Awesome sci-fi movies

Odd Thomas

SNATCH is awesome. You guys see LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS? SNATCH is not a sequel, but it continues that crime world.

Philip Davetas

Snatch is great !! I recommend "Revolver" and "Rock N Rolla" for more Guy Ritchie

Florian Meier

Snatch is fantastic such a stylish movie you're going to love it 🙌🙌🙌

Ian

Yeah, but that genre was very popular at the time. “Zapped” was another one of those.

Jeff Mills

So excited for American Pie!

David Crabtree

But when The Last American Virgin turns grim, it turns REALLY grim. Probably because it's a straight remake of an Israeli film by the same director. Nothing really "Hollywood" about it.

Paul Cox

On this note, can we have a raunchy comedy poll? There are some good ones from the 80s like "Bachelor Party", "Night Shift", "Risky Business", etc.

Mr. Writhms

Gonna be a good week. Take a break, you two ☺️

ShadowVessel π

The soundtrack to the American Pie films are great too.

Tim Raths

After watching “American Pie”, you’ll never be able to hear someone say “This one time…” without thinking “at band camp”. 🤪 This movie was kind of a throwback to the early 1980s pre-John Hughes. Movies like “The Last American Virgin”, “Porky’s”, etc. The quest to lose one’s virginity. It’s not that the Hughes movies avoided sex or drugs, but they were more about not fitting in and the struggles of being a teenager in the 1980s.

Jeff Mills

Ha..Moneyball was great 👍

Jonathan Patrick

Roger Ebert used to have this theory called “The Kevin Kline Mustache Principle”. If Kline wore a mustache, it was a comedy. If he was clean-shaven, it was a drama. I have one called “The Brad Pitt Facial Hair and Long Hair Principle”. If Pitt has facial hair or long hair or both, chances are it’s a very good movie. If he’s clean-shaven and has short hair, it’s almost always a dud. Granted, there are a few exceptions, but I think this is true. “Seven”? Phenomenal movie. “Seven Years In Tibet”? Meh.

Jeff Mills

Thanks!

Samuel Bruce

They're both terrific!

Steven Montano

Snatch! Daags! Ze Germans! Just remember: go down in the fourth, beware any man who owns a pig farm, and don't go to England! (All of this will make sense once you've seen this comic gem.)

Steven Montano

I hope you do all the American Pie films. Those films were so nostalgic for me because they were released while I was in high school.

Tim Raths

We don’t have Peacock, I believe we watched it on Amazon Prime! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Yes yes American Pie! I can't wait for you guys to (hopefully) begin that film series. They may be R-Rated and raunchy, but they were hugely successful box office hits and have a lot of heart.

Mike the Ginger

People love Snatch. That's great. I seem to be in the minority, though, who find its predecessor "Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels" to be superior. I hope you will watch both!

Legends of the Fall (1994) Meet Joe Black (1998)

On peacock for American pie?
