Three Men and a Baby (1987) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Comments

Yes! A movie that will make you laugh out loud and cry.

Jeff Mills

I saw this in the theater when it came out. It was a fun time and if you loved this I highly recommend “Look Who’s Talking” next. You’ll love it!

Jeff Mills

Ooh Sister Act is great! I did see that as a kid, but I'll check if Daniel has seen it! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

We had absolutely no idea about this ghost until all the comments! So funny! We need to check out the original Star Trek films as well! Let us know which films we should watch! -Sam

Luckily for us Three Men and Rosemary's Baby is just a small gag in an early 90s John Ritter comedy.

Kyle

I didn't realize this was directed by Leonard Nimoy. Highly Illogical;)

Mark M

I think Dave Foley(Kids in the Hall, News Radio) was the Supermarket Employee stocking shelves.

This was a ton of fun. I love this genre of late 80s-early 90s comedy. City Slickers is also a fun comedy from around that time. I have my fingers crossed that we will get a reaction to the sequel, "Three Men and a Little Lady."

Christian Rennie

We need more Leonard Nimoy films! Meaning Star Trek

Odd Thomas

One of those films I watched a lot as a kid but now think... why?

Odd Thomas

When Jack's mother comes to visit Mary (Lisa Blair), you can see in the background what appeared to be a little boy standing in a doorway. There is a rumor that this is the ghost of a little boy who died in the apartment in which the film was shot. This rumor is false, as the interiors were all shot on a soundstage in a movie studio. The "ghost" is actually a cardboard cut-out of Jack wearing a tuxedo. This prop appeared later in the movie, when Mary's mother comes to collect her.

Jeff Mills

I really hope you watch the sequel, I love it so much.

Jen Barnes

I second this.

F.O.T. Snax (Michelle)

From what I remember about this film, this was one of the movies, if not THE movie that gave rise to the genre known as dramady, which stems from the, at the time, unusual mix of drama and comedy in one film. It's one of my favorite things to watch. I love this film, and I would love to watch you guys react to the sequel. Don't get me wrong, I adore this film, but I like the second one just a little bit more. If you want movies that have a similar vibe, you should react to Sister Act, and it's equally good sequel. The plot is totally different from this, but the first one in particular has that same sort of mix of intense drama, or what you guys referred to as "dark", mixed with comedic moments. I think you guys would love them both. Great reaction, guys, and congrats on little baby Schmitt! :D

Raven Dark

Watched the whole thing with you guys. This was the biggest movie in the WORLD back in 1987. It's hard to believe, but Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson were HUGEE in the late 1980s. I remember seeing this when I was about 4 years old in 1992 on an NBC broadcast! Thank you for watching. I highly recommend you watch the sequel "Three Men and a Little Lady" from 1990.

Mike the Ginger

First of all, congrats on TBR Baby! 🥰 Second, I love that you guys noticed the cardboard cutout! Back when this movie came out (well, a couple of years after, when it came out on video tape) I remember it was a big deal and people thought it was a ghost. I thought so too but I was like 9 or something. Also, how dare you not notice the fact that it was directed by Leonard Nimoy. It's okay, my trekkie heart forgives you. 😉🖖🏻 You should totally watch the sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady!

Domino

It's official, I'm old. You guys know Ted Danson from "The Good Place" and not from "Cheers". Sigh

Mr. Chumpus

Daniel, that was Colin Quinn, the comedian running the market stand, good eye

Ken Veader

Now for Ron Howard's "Parenthood."

Cliff Adams

easily easily one of the most fun and enjoyable reactions I have seen on the channel ,my jaw was aching after 40 minutes from smiling and laughing so much ,enjoyed it that much ,that I am going to rewatch it over the weekend I am 100% down for the sequel "Three Men and a Little Lady (1990)" if you wanted to continue

Duncan

An oldie but definitely fun—saw it in theaters with my parents back in the day.

Warren H

Imagine if Sam's water broke during this reaction. Haha. Congrats again!
