Chapter 152: One Against Many Training
Added 2024-09-09 14:07:17 +0000 UTCPatrick, Natsuki, and Bellina were not yet fully accustomed to working together. Their every movement was out of sync, and they often failed to understand their respective roles in the battle formation.
Lilyana moved gracefully, anticipating each of their attacks. However, gradually, something began to change. Day by day, the three of them started to find their rhythm.
Their coordination began to improve, and although Lilyana still had the upper hand, they started to be able to last longer. Their attacks began to pose a real threat, and Lilyana had to admit that they were becoming increasingly difficult to defeat.
Fight after fight, the days passed with intensity. Lilyana, who initially dominated, began to feel the pressure as Patrick, Natsuki, and Bellina's coordination became more solid. They worked as a unit, their attacks became more coordinated, until finally, Lilyana was overwhelmed.
By the end of the third day, panting and exhausted, Lilyana finally had to admit defeat. Patrick, Natsuki, and Bellina achieved their first victory, a milestone that showcased their significant progress.
As Haruto had said before, the development of the three of them was becoming increasingly evident. They began to align their strengths, understand their roles within the team, and enhance their fighting abilities.
Lilyana smiled wearily, knowing that this defeat was just part of the process. However, deep down, Lilyana felt a twinge of concern. Haruto was right; although Lilyana had initially excelled, the progress of the three of them was starting to surpass her.
"Starting tomorrow, Patrick will fight against all three of you," Haruto said firmly. The change surprised Patrick. He knew it would be difficult to face Lilyana, Natsuki, and Bellina all at once.
The next day, Patrick immediately felt the weight of the challenge. The relentless attacks from the three of them battered Patrick mercilessly. Within minutes, Patrick had fallen multiple times, his body covered in wounds. However, on the second day, Patrick began to adjust.
Patrick's movements became more tactical, and although he was still losing, he was able to last longer. The one against many fights forced Patrick to think faster and smarter. Haruto nodded in satisfaction, seeing the progress that was starting to show in Patrick.
After a few days, it was Natsuki's turn to face three opponents at once. However, Natsuki's results were far worse compared to Lilyana or Patrick. Natsuki struggled to put up a meaningful resistance; every movement and attack seemed slow and predictable. Without hesitation, Haruto quickly replaced Natsuki with Bellina.
Unexpectedly, Bellina performed much better than the others. Although Bellina's primary focus was on healing abilities, she became a monster in close combat. Bellina utilized her ability to recover quickly from every injury, making her difficult to defeat.
Even Lilyana and Patrick began to feel overwhelmed against Bellina. Bellina was a tough fighter, turning weaknesses into strengths in her own way.
The role changes in this one against many trainings were not just physical exercises but also mental training. They were trained to face a greater number of opponents, providing valuable experience in real battlefield combat.
Each of them began to get used to the pressure of fighting multiple opponents at once, significantly accelerating their development.
However, among them all, Bellina showed the fastest progress. Then came Patrick, who continued to improve day by day, followed by Natsuki, who began to find her rhythm after a rough start.
Meanwhile, Lilyana, despite having more versatile abilities, struggled to focus on one specific area. Lilyana's progress was slower because she had to manage three types of abilities, unlike the others who focused on one or two areas.
Although Bellina was currently at the top, followed by Patrick and Natsuki, everyone knew that Lilyana was the only one with the potential to surpass them all in the future.
