Ooh if I can jump in here, I'd add Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman in PAPILLON (1973) and Burt Lancaster* in BRUTE FORCE (1947). *You may know him best as "Moonlight" Graham in Field of Dreams.

Paul Cox

I would start first of all with Clint Eastwood's "Escape From Alcatraz" and carry forth with "Gridiron Gang" as well as "Blood In Blood Out" *Bound By Honor and "American Me" just to name a few at the top of my head. Stallone's "Lock Up" is also another one that I am sure you and TBR would absolutely dig! Have a great day and keep up the great work! ( :E

Man on Fire is definitely on our list! -Sam

Let us know your recommendations for Prison films! -Sam

I'm wondering if the premise for the Equalizer was ever considered for the Rambo movies. That would have saved the Rambo franchise for me. People take the Equalizer movies more seriously than any of the Rambo movies after First Blood.

Erwin Quiachon

Man on Fire is better imo, but The Equaliser is a great Denzel movie

Odd Thomas

I really think you ought to do a Prison Movie Poll. There are some very good ones out there, but some are definitely not for the squeamish! ( :E

Original is the only version as far as I'm concerned. Regarding the rubbish remake I'm just amazed it didn't have Magnum as a woman and Lizzo as TC.

Aaron Barlow

Ah well, ok so from now on you must use baby as shameless view manipulation!

Aaron Barlow

We’ve got our schedule lined up for September already but Dazed and Confused is definitely on our list we want to check out for the channel!

TBR Schmitt

Paul’s got it! We’ve been lining up to have some Denzel content on the channel and when we realized the third installment hits theaters this week, it felt most fitting like we did around Indiana Jones!

TBR Schmitt

Lol recordings were done Pre-baby!

TBR Schmitt

I highly recommend 1993's Dazed & Confused, celebrating it's 30th anniversary coming up on September 10th. An all-time classic. A fantastic "last day of school/coming of age"film, which introduced the world to Matthew McConaughey(as well as Ben Affleck).

David Crabtree

I don't think anyone is feeling sorry for Tom Selleck. He's had an iconic career in TV. But, it's still one of those great "what if's" in cinematic history.

Erwin Quiachon

It makes sense, he was great in Quigley Down Under.

Armchair Rizzard

God, I loved that show as a kid! remake is shit, IMO

Chris Bruneau

High Road to China is still awesome

I remember George Lucas and Spielberg saying that Tom Selleck was their first choice to play Indiana Jones. Even Harrison Ford was expecting Tom Selleck to be Indiana Jones. Tom Selleck backed out of that role because he had already made a commitment to start Magnum PI that conflicted with the schedule for Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Erwin Quiachon

I enjoyed his performance in "High Road To China". Saw that at the cinema when it was released and you're right, he would have made an outstanding Indiana Jones based on what I saw in the film.

Guston Zimasheen

Tom Selleck would have been an outstanding Indiana Jones.

Erwin Quiachon

More baby/parenting themed movies, please. "Kramer vs. Kramer" (1979), "Junior" (1994), "A River Runs Through It" (1992)......

Erwin Quiachon

Where is Higgins ;)

Florian Meier

I think it's more likely that reactors are massaging the algorithm a little because a new installment is arriving in theaters.

Paul Cox

I swear film companies are infiltrating reaction channels to promote their films

Ken Veader

Magnum P.I.

Ken Veader

Yeah!!! Love Three Men and a Baby !!! My Childhood and the biggest hit at the Cinemas in 1987!!

Florian Meier

The ghost in Three Men and a Baby was too scary for me.

Kevin Charley

And in a few years it'll be Two Schmitts and a Little Lady!

EdmanXERO

I can't remember much, but I think Three Men and a Baby has a decent sequel. And everybody's watching The Equalizer this week. Weird. Lol
