Adventure Film Poll!

Help pick the Adventure movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

NOTE: Sam has seen National Treasure & The NeverEnding Story so this would only be my first time watch!

*We haven't seen these films unless noted above. If you disagree with the genre, you'll have to take it up with Google ;)

Comments

Cast Away, Finch and The Edge (1997)! How these aren't choices is insane. They're fantastic movies!

Heaby

Time Bandits and The Neverending Story!

Neal Romanek

This is a great list. The Man Who Would Be King is one of the best adventure movies ever made.

Neal Romanek

The Edge is so good. David Mamet does action/adventure.

Neal Romanek

Really good movies, with really amazing soundtracks.

Neal Romanek

So sad that Captian Ron and 13th Warrior are losing so badly. I love both of those movies and I am sure you both would as well.

Matt Jamison

Man, how did i forget Last of the Mohicans (1992) and Rob Roy (1995) of my earlier list?

Smooticus

A pity that some classics like Neverending story, Willow and Dragonheart don't get a look in, perhaps in a future poll.

Aaron Barlow

Kind of playing fast & loose with the label “Adventure” movie lol 😉

oldcdog

Too many people be sleeping on the Mask of Zorro

Julie O

Honestly, Burt Reynolds is really underappreciated in the reactorsphere. A few channels have reacted to Smokey & The Bandit (one I hope the Schmitts will eventually get to), but he's got a handful I think would go over pretty well.

Paul Cox

Oh man! Everyone should see 20,000 Leagues under the sea. Its old school Disney live action. Great score and steampunk asthetic.

Nick Parker

A lot of great choices in this one! wow!

DM DC

This should be most triumphant!

Scott Kerr

Captain Ron is straight up comedy. Not adventure. Like Bill & Ted

ron clint

Great flick. Sadly it would never win a poll(or even get close to winning). 90s/2000s flicks dominate here(with a few exceptions).

Birdie Num Num

I think you should end the vote now with Bill and Ted having 69 votes.

Kevin Charley

Agreed. Classics.

Aaron Barlow

Has to be the 13th Warrior first Then the Mask of Zorro!

DERICK VEGA

such a great movie!

Philip Alan

I find it very unlikely that Time Bandits will win...but Time Bandits all the way (Time Bandits forever)!

Steve Mercier

Oh man cmon give Capt Ron some more love.

Mike Adams

Time Bandits is like a family version of Monty Python, and is just as funny. its an absolute joy

Nick Sneddon

its a brilliant film, and yeah no chance of winning the poll

Nick Sneddon

Their adventure was quite excellent 👌

ShadowVessel π

Damn, SO many to choose from! 🤩 I must be an adventure geek Lol Honestly I want to pick about half of this list, but The 13th Warrior is the underdog so I'm going with it ☺️

ShadowVessel π

time bandits!!

Nick of Time

These are all good, but I think Captain Ron and Bill & Ted are out of place, because they comedies, not adventure movies.

Vwlss Nvwls

Threw a vote to Captain Ron, even though I've never seen it, in solidarity with the youtube commenter who asks for it every week.

Paul Cox

Deliverance. I cant believe there aren't a ton of reactions for this. Would love to see it here.

Future Boy

Damn, these are some good ones! In my order "Bill & Ted", "Neverending Story" and "Willow" are the ones that reshaped my childhood. Any one of those I hope win! Best of luck!

EdmanXERO

Oh and 13th warrior was my favourite movie as a young teenager. I think this poll is making me realise my inner 13 year old boy is alive and well, you need to watch all these movies at some point.

Tostito Buddy

I saw Time Bandits when I was 12 when it came out in the movie theaters. It's always held a special place in my heart. No real plot, but pure fun. I know it has no chance of winning, but I really hope everyone on here gets a chance to see it someday

Smooticus

Willow or Stardust for me. I could sit and watch a reaction to the just the film score for those 2 movies, let alone the movies.

Tostito Buddy

Guys The 13th warrior slaps! It's great! More people need to see it!

Hector M.

I voted for it, but I voted for a few other also

Smooticus

“EXCELLENT!!”

Webwyrm

Would also love to see The Man Who Would be King on this list But while I'm suggesting movies, you might consider: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid The Adventures of Baron Munchausen Brazil The Wild Bunch Every Which Way but Loose Excalibur The Wind and the Lion Deliverance The Black Stallion Muppet Treasure Island

Smooticus

Oh my god, I was obsessed with Dragonheart back when it came out. Such an underrated film. I'm not sure if it would be adventure or sci-fi but you guys have to watch Innerspace (1987).

Domino

My favourite adventure film is The Edge (1997), starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin. It's too unknown to win a poll, but I'd love to see it on the schedule one day. I'd also love to see "Alive" (1993) one day too. Together, The Edge and Alive make a great "stranded in the mountains" double act!

Future Boy

More people need to see The 13th Warrior, that movie is awesome!

Christopher B.

Willow, Neverending Story, and Time Bandits!

David Crabtree

What's the difference between an "action" film and an "adventure" film? I think an adventure film should have an element of "the quest" or "the misson." So, I humbly submit one of the finest and most unusual "adventure" films I've seen: "The Book of Eli" (2010), starring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Mila Kunis, Those who've seen it will understand why I recommend it. It's just a great film.

William 1611

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea would be a good watch after Romancing the Stone. Romancing stars Michael Douglas, and Under the Sea stars his father, legendary actor Kirk Douglas. I voted for National Treasure.

Mike LL

One of my favorites

Smooticus

TIME BANDITS!!!!!

Smooticus

I don’t think they’ll win but I love seeing Dragonheart and Stardust here!

Muse

I love 13th WARRIOR. As for BILL AND TED, I'm a BOGUS JOURNEY man myself. FACE THE MUSIC is really good.

Philip Davetas

For a future poll: The Man Who Would Be King. Great adventure with Sean Connery and Michael Cain, based on a story by Rudyard Kipling and directed by John Huston. One of the best adventure movies ever made.

Atle Mork Oftedal

Voted for national treasure but tbh I'm happy with whatever wins ngl this is a really good poll guys . Win win 👌

Ian

C'mon 13th Warrior!!!

Robert H

I'm surprised the Adventures of Tintin (2011) isn't on the list, or the underrated John Carter (2012).

John W Foster

Captain Ron is the tits

HoFX666

13th warrior ❤️ one of my favorite of all time, maybe number 2 behind big trouble

Deano

National Treasure is going to win, justifiably, but 13th Warrior is fantastic.

Kase West

I went to see 13th Warrior with a friend and his family because his brother worked on the film and was about to get his first ever screen credit. When they finally got to his credit they misspelled his name! Poor guy. 😂

Marcus Cato

Stardust wins this poll in my book by the hugest margin imaginable, the other movies don't even come close to it

W T

Kurt Russell in a speedo is all you need to know about Captain Ron.

Erwin Quiachon

Man I love National Treasure!

JoshG

13th Warrior! Let's gooooo!

WhatRaySay
