Sopranos today?! See this is why this is my favorite reaction channel. You guys give us treats. You definitely don't have to. Definitely not expected of you yet you do it. :)

This is Christopher's swan song and for as awful as he was in this show if he had any decent support system in his life he might have turned out fine. But from the time when he was born to an alcoholic mother and addict father who passed early and he was brought up in the mafia, it was over. It wasn't just that he was his own worst enemy, he never even had a fair shot of a normal life. There's also AJ, which the show took the longest time to flesh out fully. People say Tony and Janice are like Livia but I think AJ is the true heir to her nihilism, from the time she tells him that it's "all a big nothing" several seasons ago. I think he gets a bad rap because of how unpleasant he is but I think he's one of the more compelling characters in the show. He's another misfit in The Sopranos crew like Christopher, which is why I think they both were the main characters of this episode. He's not seen as traditionally masculine by his father like the frat boys and he tends to be quite in tune to his emotions which his father also despises; he never receives any coaching from either of his parents because they don't know how to handle someone like him, so he goes from a troublemaking preteen boy to a mess of an adult with no direction in life. "But you're the manayer" The last scene is a massive gut punch. For me Chris putting the sapling upright represents his deep desire to heal himself, but the little tree and the rest of the garden is already dead.
