The Sopranos Season 6 Episode 4 'The Fleshy Part of the Thigh' Full TV Reaction!!

I noticed that too! 😂 I was waiting for him to say something awful. I also noticed a young Peter Gregory as the doctor who tells Tony he may have Alzheimers.

Marcus Cato

All I could think was, "Holy s**t, Jason is a young Russ Hanneman!"

Donna Castellano

the whole Kevin Finnerty thing was just a way to reflect how tonys life was slipping away from him as he was near-death. Him losing his identity in his "dream" mirrors him slowly dying and losing his life in real life. it's like his ego fighting to stay alive. the resolution is just him waking up out of the coma and not dying.

Mitchell

Everyone is terrible (Tony is literally pure evil at his worst moments). Paulie is an evil scumbag but is a hilarious and entertaining character.

Tommy Smith

I mentioned in the past that you'll soon discover that everybody is just out for themselves and will take advantage of any situation that either lines their pockets, or kisses Tony's ass. This episode drives home this fact perfectly! Also, Paulie acted without Tony's knowledge. He threatened Jason to give him $4k a month so he's not out of pocket anymore with the Green Grove costs.

JG

I have never wanted Paulie to get clipped so much in my life. He's a complete monster, a good deal worse than Tony on the sociopath scale. At least Tony (usually) has empathy for his family and has enough self awareness to usually act human with regards to others' pain. Unless they're in his way, of course. Paulie is just pure garbage. If he can't even be loyal to the woman who raised him like a son, who can he be loyal to? It's just another excuse not to have to spend money on anyone else but himself.

I’ve watched a few Sopranos reactions and I gotta say, you 2 are def my fav. Sam’s reaction when Tony got shot in episode 1 was just brilliant. Pure shock.

Stan the Man

I feel like Bobby is also loyal to Tony. Silvio & Bobby are the only two I’d trust 100%.

Stan the Man

As Sam alluded to, there is quite a bit of substance below the surface that can be deep-dived into, and not only about aspects of these episodes, but the series as a whole. No need to go into that kind of thing now, of course, but there are at least two excellent blogs that ran a few years ago, with some tangential connections to David Chase himself. There are quite a few layers to the whole thing, which makes the parts we’re presented with, all the more meaningful. In short, there wasn’t anything simple or superficial about the creation and ongoing production of the show.

You guys are definitely the best sopranos reactors. I would keep these last couple episodes in mind as you finish the series. I REALLY wouldn't consider what Tony was feeling for that little girl empathy at all. It seems similar to what Livia would do, where she would constantly bring up tragedies and fixate on how awful the world was. Immediately after Carmela's "revelation" she instantly brings up how there are crooks way worse than tony, which despite having some truth to it is just her deflecting. I feel like it's pretty clear that Silvio is the only one truly loyal to Tony. Also Paulie took the 4 grand for his aunt.

Tommy Smith

So if you remember back to season 5, “Russ Fagoli”. The guy who was Carmela’s fathers friend(he was the rude asshole). There are quite a few connections to suggest that man is Paulie’s biological father. The name, the Vatican connection, Carmela’s father alluded to Russ’s time with the ladies, the world war 2 connection. There’s more that are spoilers but I’ll save it for when it comes up.

Stan the Man

Paulie Gaultieri, or is it Fegoli?--always acting like an entitled doctor's son. (Yes, I know, not that kind of doctor.) RIP Dottie!

Robert Livingood

Yessss Sopranos Mondays are back! The shot of Paulie's photo is low key funny af
