2023-03-12 08:07:00 +0000 UTCI saw the 4th one and I liked it, but it's not as good as the previous 3 and from what I know its story threads are dropped when Damon comes back in the 5th one. Legacy ultimately feels superfluous. I never saw the 5th one but was spoiled one particular plot point which puts me off ever watching it. It's amazing how well connected the original Bourne trilogy is since both Identity and Supremacy were made without any intentions of making a follow-up. Identity had a very complicated and fraught production, especially from a writing perspective and everybody involved was just happy to have the movie made. Damon was contracted on a movie to movie basis so each project had to be conceived one at a time.

Seems to me, that precious time and space should be spent on better—and less similar content. At 5 installments it would seem to merge into limited series terrain, with VERY LONG episodes and poor pay-off.
