But a seriously good story with some great performances. Sleepers is probably one of the most overlooked and underrated movies from the 90s with a serious all star cast.

2023-02-03 20:01:26 +0000 UTCDamn. AMERICAN HISTORY X. Man, I haven't seen that since it first came out. It's pretty messed up. Even the director tried to get himself Alan Smithee'd over this flick. But I don't know if it was for content for the fact that Edward Norton was throwing his weight around and re-writing scenes. But it's not really so much a crime film. Yeah, crimes are committed, but there is no thriller aspect to it. It's a hard one to watch. Good? I still haven't decided. I just feel there was nothing to learn that I already didn't know. I guess this was more for an audience that is struggling with themselves. I guess today, people who are on the bad side have embraced their negative selves.

I feel like modern day Neo Nazis think this movie is a positive reflection of their lifestyle which is also a little annoying, like they totally miss the point of this movie, so it's left a bad taste in my mouth as well.

Really messed with me. I'd like to recommend the epic.. 1) "Blood In, Blood Out" (1993) considered the latino Godfather.
