I agree. But also it kind of shows why the Mafia still exists, and just how hard and expensive it is to do these long task forces. All the work that went into going in and taking pictures, making the fake lamp and hooking up the listening device, breaking in, exchanging the lamp, leaving, listening in. So many people, so many hours of work, and disguises, and expertise...all for nothing. Massive amounts of tax payer dollars.

Damn, I feel bad for Bobby. Also, David Chase really wants viewers to remember what a garbage person Tony is. He gets pissed and vengeful when someone doesn't acknowledge his unearned privilege. Instead of letting the guy get his position back he remains a petty child. Tony wasn't trying to help the guy out with the tip, he was just trying to prove his power over him one more time.

Amen, Future Boy. Honestly I thought it was a flaw in the show when I first saw it. But now I see they had a plan on making it really true to life. About 10 years ago, I met a woman in my neighborhood looking for a lost cat. I'll never know if she actually found it. That's just life.

Come on - if he still had his hair...

Future Boy

I love the way the show lets storylines dangle (or vanish) with no clue if they're ever coming back. By the later seasons there are dozens of unresolved strands hanging over all the characters. For first-time viewers it creates huge tension and anticipation, wondering if and when one or more of them will resurface.

Future Boy

I’ve read complaints over the years about Meadow taking the lamp, because it undoes the storyline of the first episode. Personally, I thought it was a masterstroke because it lets you know that you can never count on anything having a payoff or not having a payoff. It keeps you on your toes.

Poor Artie. He's such a loser. LOL. The earring. LOL.

"Too many onions or some shit" I forget how much is going on in this episode. You have multiple subplots starting and finishing in the same episode and other subplots continuing. This was a very suitable follow up to "Employee of the Month" as Officer Wilmore rejects Tony's influence just like Melfi did in the last episode. It's like Jack Nicholson's character in the Departed said: "He never wanted money. You can't do anything with a guy like that." At this point in the show Tony's morality is being explored more thoroughly and critically after going much easier on him the first two seasons. Also, that scene with Artie and Adrianna is sooo cringeworthy lol dude thought she'd be impressed by his earring and associate's degree in business.
