20: Side Job

After the testing was finished, Yuya walked back to the Academy courtyard, seeing many people returning, which annoyed Yuya a little as he didn't really like crowded places.

After waiting for a while, someone approached Yuya, and it was Reika, a girl.

"Hey! How did it go? Did you manage to get into a good class?" Reika asked with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Well, not too bad. I'm in Class B," Yuya answered calmly.

"Eh? Really? Me too! I'm in Class B!"

"Uhm? I thought because you're a member of the Noble Clan, you would be in Class A."

"No, only the strong ones are in Class A. I'm not that strong!"

"Well, I guess you're right."

"Attention! You have all been assigned to your respective classes! Starting tomorrow, you can go to the class you've been assigned to!"

"Huh?" Yuya shifted his attention to the person speaking.

"Now, you can all go back to your respective homes!"

"It seems like we'll be parting ways then. See you tomorrow, Reika."

"Yes, see you in class, Yuya!"

The object was called the Substitute Ball, where it would replace Yuya's figure. Yuya's memories and behavior were embedded in it, and it would take Yuya's place while he went outside the Village for plant and ingredient hunting for making items, potions, or pills.

After that, Yuya instructed the Substitute Ball to go home. Seeing his own figure leaving, Yuya quickly took an item, which was a plain-looking mask.

Right after Yuya put it on, his body transformed and became someone else. Many might think that all of Yuya's plans wouldn't work, as someone could differentiate others using Chakra Scanning. However, the Substitute Ball and the Shape-Changing Mask couldn't be detected by someone at the Jonin level. Only someone at the Kage level or above could do that.

In other words, besides someone at Level A, B, C, or D, no one could know Yuya's disguise.

Because Yuya was not an important figure, no one would pay attention to the differences in Yuya's appearance, so all of Yuya's plans would go smoothly.
