Alvin looked at Colleen jokingly, with a cruel smile, and said, "Don't beg me, really! You're going to die anyway, why are you still begging me to kill you? Do you want me to have mercy on you?"
Pausing for a moment, Alvin continued speaking, "If you truly feel remorseful and believe that you have committed an unforgivable mistake, why don't you just kill yourself? But do you want me to kill you? Do you think I will be gentle, that you will feel sad, and that if I kill you, you will be able to redeem yourself?"
Alvin handed the pistol in his hand, surrendering it to Colleen, and gestured, "Now you have the chance to prove whether you are good or evil! I am fair! You will definitely die, it's up to Matt. For your sake, you have the opportunity to choose!"
Colleen, weakly, smiled sadly and took Alvin's pistol in desperation.
She only wanted to raise the pistol with her left hand to her head.
"No~" Danny rushed beside her, took the pistol from Colleen's hand, and hugged her.
Danny's eyes were red and he glared at Alvin, but he didn't know what to say. He wanted to defend Colleen, but he couldn't even utter a word to convince himself.
In Colleen's tightly held hand, a dazzling silver light began to spread, enveloping the two embracing figures.
I don't know if it was nurtured by the silver light, but Colleen's condition improved significantly.
Alvin didn't speak, but stared at Colleen being embraced by Danny.
Alvin waited for Colleen to prove herself, so that he wouldn't hate Matt too much.
Matt, beside them, woke up from his shock at Alvin's words just now.
For a moment, Matt even doubted his own belief in life.
Was everything he did for Hell's Kitchen, or to prove himself?
But Matt was a determined person. He believed that he hadn't done anything wrong. He saw Colleen as a good person and his friend. He couldn't bear to see her die.
Matt pleaded at that moment, "Alvin, maybe you're right. But Colleen doesn't have to die. She wanted to help those kids, she wanted them to survive. She just did it in the wrong way, Danny and I only found out about the situation recently, we didn't have time to stop her.
Matt spoke, took a deep breath for a moment, and continued, "We didn't even dare to tell her, we were all afraid she would commit suicide! She's already dead now, Alvin, look at her appearance! She's gone! She's a good girl and she shouldn't be treated like this. The real culprit is the Hand Association, it's Botu! Alvin, please, keep her alive! Give her a chance to redeem herself!"
Colleen leaned on Danny's arm, with an expressionless face, her mouth opening and closing, not knowing what to say to Danny.
Both of them couldn't hear what Matt said. They were like two lovers parting ways.
The scene was truly heart-wrenching.
But Alvin didn't care at all, and people had to pay for their actions.
I won't forgive if you say you didn't know anything.
It's extremely unfair to those children.
Maybe the judge will set you free, but this is Hell's Kitchen.
As Colleen and Danny bid their final farewell, Old Parker burst in with the two children.
Parker Old ran to Alvin's side anxiously.
Seeing the scene, I felt a little relieved.
Alvin looked towards Old Parker and said, "Ben Parker, why are you here? I thought you would be taking care of the kids who returned to school."
Old Parker was startled. Glancing at the two children who came with him, he said, "Charlie and Jimmy asked me to bring them. They're afraid you'll kill the woman named Colleen."
Alvin smiled, "Yes, I will."
Old Parker hesitated and said, "I don't know what to say, but, Alvin, I don't think you should kill her."
Alvin's face turned slightly cold and he said, "Why? Ben Parker, do you also want to stop me from killing this woman? Do you know what she did?"
Old Parker looked at the two children who came with him and bravely said, "I've only been here for two months, Headmaster Alvin, and I don't know much about Hell's Kitchen. Those two kids told me about it."
Ben Parker explained, "They were raised on the streets of Hell's Kitchen. Their parents never cared about them. They didn't even have their own beds. Colleen Wing is the one who fed them when they were hungry and taught them how to defend themselves when they were beaten. They appreciate her!"
As Old Parker spoke, the two children continued to nod, confirming what Old Parker said.
They dared not speak and could only plead with their eyes as they looked at Alvin.
Alvin looked at the old man in front of him jokingly and said, "So, Ben Parker, do you think she shouldn't die? Do you also think I made a mistake?"
Unexpectedly, Old Parker looked at Colleen with disgust and said, "On the contrary, I think she should be cursed. She's very foolish, and her existence will only harm more children, the warmth of the children in Hell's Kitchen for their families. There's no resistance at all. It's very bad for someone to do bad things with good intentions, because she doesn't even know she's made a mistake!"
Alvin nodded in agreement, feeling that what Old Parker said made sense.
Alvin didn't think about this. Alvin just thought you sent my son to be a killer, damn you, it has nothing to do with knowing the facts or not.
Old Parker spat at Colleen, who was lying in Danny's arms, looked at Alvin, and said, "But, Alvin, you can't kill her. You are the Headmaster of the Community School, and you will be an example for them, the children."
Ben Parker continued, "If you kill this woman, what will these two children and the ones who were sent back before think? They can still become better, Headmaster Alvin, you have to give them a chance. Isn't the goal of this Community School to give these children a chance to choose to be good people?"
Alvin looked at Old Parker, then at the two children who were enchanted by the warmth and incited by the woman.
Alvin was slightly annoyed. There were too many twists and turns in today's affairs. He asked hesitantly, "Mr. Parker, what should I do? Should I just let her go? I can't accept this outcome!"
Old Parker raised his angry eyebrows upon hearing Alvin's words and shouted, "Let her go? Are you kidding me! Headmaster Alvin, bring her back to school, heal her, and find someone to watch over her. Let her redeem herself!"
Ben Parker spoke firmly, "I asked her to bring back all the children she sent to do bad things one by one. Those children might be saved. Confession is useless, she has to find a way to redeem her mistakes. This foolish woman doesn't deserve sympathy. She can't even die until she finds all the children!"
Old Parker spoke dominantly as if he were the headmaster.
