hope you react to all of the Bourne movies

2022-12-11 16:46:03 +0000 UTCI'm taking a wild guess here, but if you do end up watching "The Bourne Identity", then it will pave the way to watching "Run Lola, Run" for a future "Foreign Movie Poll"?
Guston Zimasheen
2022-11-26 13:20:42 +0000 UTCPlease do Long Kiss Goodnight for christmas. It's Samuel L. Jackson's favourite part of his. It's a blast and way underrated.
Timo Alho
2022-11-24 21:00:25 +0000 UTCI can't say that I'm upset about the winner but I'd of preferred The Equalizer. It's a solid action movie that many haven't watched. I think that it'd be a good reaction for that alone - but also some of the scenes are great as well. Maybe next time!
Logan Kerlee
2022-11-23 23:23:35 +0000 UTCI honestly prefer seeing reactions where both of you have never seen it.
James Whalen
2022-11-21 22:25:43 +0000 UTCThese are all great, but Small Soldiers is such a gem. I would love to see you guys react to it. Just one of those 90's movies that kinda goes under the radar. The entire cast and crew are soo solid.
Colin Thomas Nichols
2022-11-21 20:57:51 +0000 UTCHave to go with Face/Off because the acting really pulls it off. Definitely one of my faves!
Rick Trujillo
2022-11-21 16:19:12 +0000 UTC@Aaron Barlow I always love the reference, I just don't get it here?
Thomas Yanez
2022-11-21 15:51:04 +0000 UTCYou can't start JCVD without "Bloodsport"!
Thomas Yanez
2022-11-21 15:49:12 +0000 UTCI'm watching another reactor going through these and one of my favorite aspects is how unsuspecting they were about the serious side. Pop culture references don't convey the emotional depth you can find in this series.
Thomas Yanez
2022-11-21 15:33:52 +0000 UTCIf you want Woo, then go vote for "Face/Off". Come on, this movie epitomizes everything that was both right and wrong with over-the-top, scenery chewing 90's action movies! And, it looks like the sequel is a "go" again.
Thomas Yanez
2022-11-21 15:20:33 +0000 UTCI think Steve McQueen would be the only star who does his own stunts in any of these movies - motorcycles in Great Escape, and cars in Bullitt.
Neal Romanek
2022-11-21 15:17:54 +0000 UTCAdding a vote for "Point Break" because of your enthusiasm. And then adding a vote for "Road House" because that completes my Annual Patrick Swayze Memorial Double Feature.
Thomas Yanez
2022-11-21 15:14:12 +0000 UTCI love the Bourne Identity.
Armchair Wizard
2022-11-21 07:41:06 +0000 UTCOh, and Psycho.
Paul Cox
2022-11-21 04:55:43 +0000 UTCIt doesn't seem like Daniel and Sam have any fear of watching pre-80s films, but it's hard to get people to vote them up in a poll because there's some kind of cultural brick wall for the subscribers of a lot of the reaction channels. Scan the archives of most channels and watch the view counts drop the further back in time you go. At least Bullitt is in color! Just about the only 3 black & white movies people will click on are It's A Wonderful Life, Casablanca, and 12 Angry Men.
Paul Cox
2022-11-21 04:54:54 +0000 UTCWhy is Bullitt so far behind? It was so influential in subsequent films. Sad to see it ignored. I guess if it's old it's considered unworthy.
David Martin
2022-11-21 04:26:33 +0000 UTCAction Blown Away (1994) With Jeff Bridges, Tommy Lee Jones Lionheart (1990) Van Damme

2022-11-21 03:56:47 +0000 UTCPoint Break. If it loses, watch it anyway.

2022-11-21 02:28:25 +0000 UTCWell, he was already a star, but "The Great Escape" one made him a superstar! I only meant that he has more screen time in "Bullitt." In "The Great Escape," he's part of an ensemble, just as he was in "The Magnificent Seven."
William 1611
2022-11-21 02:20:35 +0000 UTCI wouldn't call Great Escape a smaller role tho, that film is what made him a star

2022-11-21 01:30:48 +0000 UTCThose movies are so great. For action movies they really tug at my heartstrings. "You're not dead until I tell you!"

2022-11-21 01:06:49 +0000 UTCOh my fucking god! POINT motherfucking BREAK! For sure!
Philip Davetas
2022-11-21 01:03:23 +0000 UTCThese are pretty good movies, but really, you owe it to yourselves to watch "Bullitt." Steve McQueen is one of his generation's best, and he deserves more attention. Of course, he's in "The Great Escape" too, which is excellent, but it's a smaller role. "Bullitt" set the standard for certain elements that would adorn movies for decades.
William 1611
2022-11-21 00:46:57 +0000 UTCMy top 3 here would be Face/Off, Con Air, and Bad Boys. Never really cared for the Bourne films.
David Crabtree
2022-11-21 00:45:47 +0000 UTCI remember Bourne Identity being good, but Point Break is a classic in our household.
Rudy Hernandez
2022-11-21 00:15:34 +0000 UTCVan Damn has talked about being coked out of his mind during filming that- on rewatch is very obvious lol

2022-11-21 00:05:35 +0000 UTCI'm not as big on the action genre but I do recommend... Domino (2005) Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) All of Daniel Craig's James Bond films. ๐
Domino
2022-11-20 23:59:39 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie I'd want them to rewatch BOURNE IDENTITY anyway as they admittedly don't remember movies they've seen a long time ago very well, and it would be fun to re-experience the entire trilogy with them even if it IS just an amnesia rewatch for the first one.
Jason Dolan
2022-11-20 23:54:55 +0000 UTCIโm surprised you guys havenโt seen the Jason Bourne films.
Tim Raths
2022-11-20 23:41:32 +0000 UTCI don't remember you ever saying if you've watched them but you won't regret watching the "Lethal Weapon" series. Great action movies with a lot of heart.
Robert Cintron
2022-11-20 23:13:16 +0000 UTCI want them to enjoy Van Dammes earlier films. Not the bad decision ones yet lol
Demos Samolis
2022-11-20 23:11:51 +0000 UTCThanks for pointing that out! I should have said his Hong Kong movies specifically. I think those were the obes that were really special. MI2 isn't worth a reaction.

2022-11-20 23:04:32 +0000 UTCI hear that. I want to recommend the 70s version of Pelham 123 but I don't think it will go anywhere. But I'm really grateful that It's a Wonderful Life may be coming up!
Marcus Cato
2022-11-20 22:55:17 +0000 UTCI would love to see someone do a John Woo film like The Killer or Hard Boiled.

2022-11-20 22:48:09 +0000 UTCHaha I mean 4 is fine but legacy is pretty skippable but the trilogy should be the priority

Demos Samolis
2022-11-20 22:35:54 +0000 UTCGlad you said trilogy, because there are only 3 Bourne movies. No more than 3. That's the story and I'm sticking to it.
