Rambo: Last Blood (2019) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Comments

Very mixed feelings on this movie , yes the conclusion wasn't the best but as an action movie it's still a fun watch and it's always great to see the bad guys getting what they deserve as Daniel said very taken like which I enjoyed very much as I did with such films as the replacement killers , dead man down ( in which I adore the lovely noomi rapace ) love her in what happened to Monday ๐Ÿ‘ , ofc John wick and many others point being there is definitely something satisfying about bad guys getting a taste of Thier medicine so to speak ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers as always for the great reaction and outro guys sry it wasn't the conclusion we as Rambo fans wanted but it's still been a fun ride

Ian

Yeah, I don't know how you can take a character who started out as a dislocated vet with severe PTSD who is obviously reluctant to fight the cops to a guy who looks like he gets off on killing people in the most gruesome ways.

Jeffrey Miller

Hated the last Rambo so Youtube cut for this one methinks

Odd Thomas

The part of the knife that Rambo used on the first guy by the pickup truck is called a SKULL CRUSHER...it's just a pointed part of hilt used for well, whatever. And he used it to break the collarbone of bad guy...and threatened to break it off completely which would be very debilitating. You can heal from a broken collarbone but if it's not there anymore?

Ok so I usually don't do this but I still haven't seen this Rambo yet so I decided to skip to the end to see what y'all thought about it and y'all helped me decide not to watch the movie. Everyone who sees this movie seems to be in the same camp that it didn't need to be done, that it's just like you said Dan the end of the last movie should have concluded John's story so we really didn't need this movie. Anyway can't wait for y'all to bring back the Jack Ryan films soon with Patriot Games.

Midnight Run is great, probably my favorite DeNiro movie

Ken Veader

I had to turn on the subtitles to see the Spanish parts that were important. This seems to be a problem with streaming services, because it happens to me on Amazon as well.

I thought this was a good end to the series of movies.

Wow! You guys rock! It sounds like you might go on a De Niro run similar to the Arnold and Stallone ones? If thatโ€™s the case, I hope youโ€™ll include The King of Comedy. Underrated Scorsese/De Niro one and itโ€™s an obvious one since you liked Joker.

Shehab Dawoud

Weโ€™ve seen Sicario but the rest are on our list! -Sam

Haven't seen this one yet, excited to watch it! Also, is Enter the Dragon still coming this weekend?

Nismo

Got all ready to watch and then found out the US Netflix version is 10 minutes shorter than the version on Australian Netflix. Oh well.

David Murray

i don't know if you guys would agree with me, but i personally like the extended cut version much more. i feel it's more descriptive. i wonder if people are just complaining about this theatrical version. Although, the sucky outcome is still the same so i guess rambo doesn't live in a world with happy endings

Terry Lee

Oh, man. MAN OF FIRE. Now you're talking my language. What a great movie. Funny, because so many plot points are like LAST BLOOD.

Philip Davetas

It just occurred to me. Have you guys watched the JOHN WICK movies? It's all the rage. As for LAST BLOOD. Yeah, I've always felt that it could've been its own movie, but I think it was one of those things where the powers that be said, "Well, we got Sly wanting to work with us, but this story sounds too much like a Rambo movie. Let's just twist this script into a Rambo flick." It happens all the time. DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE was written as a script called SIMON SAYS and then they said, "Let's make that into a DIE HARD movie." That said, I do feel that it's appropriate that LAST BLOOD ended the way it did. It's the story of a tragic hero. It's why I love the MAD MAX movies so much. Sometimes the warrior is better off on his own. It's that line in ROCKY IV where Apollo says to Rocky, "...without some damn war to fight then the warriors might as well be dead, Stallion." So, while, yes, it's the ultimate "get off my lawn" movie, but I think it's appropriate for John Rambo.

Philip Davetas

I'd like to recommend A Perfect World w/ Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood

Ken Veader

Thank you for another great reaction, and wrapping up your journey with Rambo! ๐Ÿ™‚๐ŸŽฏ

@Future Boy Midnight Run! See two polar opposite De Niros in a short space of time

Shehab Dawoud

Some people criticize this movie as being racist i personally didn't see that, at the end of the day you have to have a villain it just happened to be Mexican, it's a tough watch given the subject matter, which reminds me i wont spoil it detail wise but In the sopranos early in season three there's a really uncomfortable scene it only last about a minute but tough to watch didn't care for it, involves Dr melfi, that's all I'll say, just a heads up, i think it's episode four ๐Ÿค”

dieselbeast

Already looking forward to it. You might want to tentatively schedule a comedy right after!

Future Boy

That was...something. Didn't like that much at all. The whole time I was watching this I was thinking of much better action movies. Dredd (2012) The Raid: Redemption (2011) Snowpiercer (2013) Oldboy (2003) Sicario (2015) Also a cartel revenge story, except, you know, good. Man on Fire (2004) Yet another cartel revenge story that's pretty good.

Jeffrey Miller

Woo!

Jeffrey Miller

Great!๐Ÿ˜

Tentatively scheduled for the first week of January! -Sam

Hey guys. I remember in your Untouchables reaction you said that you would watch the runner-up in the De Niro poll since he didn't feature much in The Untouchables. So, can we expect Cape Fear anytime soon? One of De Niro's best and most underappreciated performances IMO.
