I don't think you realized this but there was A HUGE REVEAL in this episode. The guy that gave Pussy a ride home was a federal agent and Pussy IS WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT AS A RAT. The guy told him "We, THE GOVERNMENT, are paying for your medical bills and we allowed you to go back on the streets and earn." So it was confirmed that Pussy is INDEED A RAT and that guy is his handler. Also, It's been a year, it's always a year in between each season. And Junior wants Tony to make up with his mother because it's a family thing -- no matter what, she's still his mother. The same with Jr. That's why Tony carried him because he still loves him. Also, on a side note regarding Tony and trying to find therapists. I know somebody who was in that lifestyle and went to therapy and had that same problem, the therapists would only see him once or twice.

All I have to say is, Janice hasn't even started yet. You guys called it that she is like a dumber Livia, and Tony almost always sees her manipulations coming, but she is a relentless pain in the arse for seasons to come.

Yeah, but I don't think it's supposed to be clear. It's a way of introducing a character without making it too obvious who he is, or what he's about. It is a scene that makes more sense after watching this season a second time, that is true. I'm sure there were a lot of people who missed what was said when they watched that scene for the first time too. Everyone saying to watch that scene again already knows who that character is. Got to let the show tell it's story at it's own pace.

It's kind of ironic that Tony needs therapy and isn't getting it, because these reactions are MY therapy. Always a treat. The rest of this season is pure dynamite. I think you'll love next week's episodes!

I dunno if anyone told you this but Uncle Junior was Johnny Ola in The Godfather Part 2. I met him...the actor once. I was star struck. He seemed sooo tall and he came over and shook my hand and held my hands in his and thanked me (it was at my job) he was the sweetest guy ever.

Um, judging by your reaction, (or lack thereof) I think you totally missed what was going on in the scene with Pussy and his "friend" Skip. It's a fairly significant reveal. Go back and really listen to the dialogue between them in the car.

Just to clarify: The reason the story about Tony trying to smother Livia got out is because the owner/director of Green Grove Retirement Community, a man called Freddie Capuano, heard it from his employees and blabbed about it to anyone who'd listen. They mention Freddie and his lousy toupee earlier in the episode and soon thereafter we saw his name on his reserved parking spot outside the old folks home but no car parked there just before we see the NJ State Trooper finding an empty Cadillac and a man's wig under the trunk. Also, as a previous commenter suggested above, you should probably watch the scene where Skip is driving Pussy home from his back injection. Fairly important info is revealed there. This show can be subtle (part of its genius) and rather understated in its exposition, so things can easily be missed. You guys are doing phenomenally well for a first time watch. Many of us have seen it literally dozens of times all the way through. BTW, Chrissy's girlfriend is indeed named Adriana (La Cerva). To add to the confusion, Pussy's wife, believe it or not, is named Angie.
