The actor who plays Mike Barnes knew martial arts before he ever even did Karate Kid 3, and he has always kept up with it. And he seems like a really nice guy too.

But Daniel just wanted the contract because that would ruin Silver. And Daniel picking up on the Stranger Things nod!! I thought the same thing. Oh, also the fight between Chozen and Mike Barnes was apparently something fans had wanted to see for the longest time.. Ever since KK3 came out apparently fans have been wanting to know who would win a fight between Chozen and Mike Barnes.
