Everyone has a "Goomar" which is just their side pieces and the wives know about it from the beginning. That doesn't mean they accept it or like it but you gotta remember most of the wives had family that were in the mob so they grew up around the culture and are more lenient about it

You me and the movies also watch this but they do like 1 minute post episode discussion and i just feel this show deserves so much more! it has incredible depth.

2022-09-13 01:29:08 +0000 UTCA great pair of reactions. I'm spoiled with all this stuff! Some quick answers to a couple of questions from your excellent outro (no spoilers). The hierarchy of this family: There's a boss (Jackie until he died, now Junior). Below him there are captains, sometimes called "capos" (Junior was a captain, Tony's a captain, all the guys eating lobster in the strip club were captains). Each captain has a handful of guys (a "crew") who do the bulk of the earning. Tony's crew is Silvio, Paulie, Pussy, Christopher. You haven't really seen any other crews yet, but Mikey is parr of Junior's. The crews kick up a percentage of what they earn to the captains, the captains kick up a percentage of what they earn to the boss. Family name: The crime family in this show DOES have a name, but it hasn't really been mentioned yet so I won't spoil it. But as with real-world mafia families, the name is based on the original leaders decades earlier, not on the current leaders. No one in the "family" is necessarily related, and the family name never changes. Cannot wait for episode 5 - it's a great one!

2022-09-12 22:01:42 +0000 UTCYou nailed it. You're able to be both empathetic and horrified at Tony pretty much simultaneously. He is a true sociopath, but he also genuinely loves his family. And this first season only scratches the surface of all the layers of Tony's psyche.

"sorry but I don't know TBR's real name" new subscriber and really enjoyed listening to your perspective at the end.. and your right Tony is a shitty person.. the guy's a sociopath but still you can identify with him on like a empathetic human level.. that's why I really enjoy this show.. the way they write the characters is sooo good.. it's like a love hate thing going on.. thanks for sharing with us y'all are doing a great job👍
