I slowly peeled myself from the floor and with a sigh slumped on my desk to see the uploads…. “That’ll do TBR, That’ll do.” … all kidding aside I’m sure it’s not easy doing what you guys do, understanding you still have work, and a real life to balance. So thank you for all you do to keep us lonely movie geeks, filled with a sense of camaraderie towards our fandom for film. Thank you!

I think Luke Perry was the oldest I believe. And then how what was it. Ralph Maccio is actually older than Thomas Ian Griffith or something like that. I think that's the one could be wrong.

2022-09-07 16:08:45 +0000 UTCI don't think they looked 40 years old. I don't even think the actors were anywhere near 40 when that was filmed. They were very beefed up and built. I personally thought that was really weird to think. At most they look maybe college age. I think groupthink and others' opinions on stuff inspire a lot of really weird things. I would put $500 on it if others didn't have the negative opinions of this movie that they did the reaction would be way different (not their reaction, the reaction to the film in general, back when it was released). My personal take on this film when it was released was just like that.. Being 100% honest I personally thought they were trying to "do over" the films with a girl and like many others that was like seen by me as being horrible and a major disservice to the original films. And for that reason alone I was like this sequel is crap. That's the way it was for so many things back then when I was a kid. When I saw this movie again after I saw the original 3 again because of Cobra Kai (for completion purposes) I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it after thinking it sucked all this time, mostly because of preconceptions. Then I think that all those negative words/ideas form glasses that folks watch a film through and it gets all filtered and they don't see it the same way they did if they saw it through their own eyes without being influenced by a thousand negative comments/opinions.

Speaking of Clint Eastwood, you have to add " Play Mysty For Me" from 1971 and "Tightrope" from 1984 and "Coogans Bluff" from 1968 and "A Perfect World" from 1993" to the List !!! There all Classics !!!

That whole "alpha league" was like an ROTC which they have in some high schools where they prepare kids that want to go into the armed forces for boot camp and military service. We had an ROTC at my first high school. I think it was junior ROTC actually. I was never involved. but basically in that school that group must have been the popular crowd. They might never have them around anymore. I never heard of it being a thing once I moved and went to a different high school. But kids in my high school were worse than that. The only thing that I thought was over the top was that the guys were bullying Julie the way they'd be bullying a boy and that he was trying to extort a date out of her was really bad.
