At first sight, It would look just like Dominus is on his usual spot for "training".

Great Undare! You ported Dominus to 1.6! Lets celebrate! $$$

----- But no! wait!

Its actually more than that!

You see...

The farmer is about to gift Dominus a precious gift, and that is only possible for npcs.

You guessed it!
Dominus will be a Full npc on the updated version of the mod.

This mean that he can have gift tastes, have dialogue, could walk around and many more features exclusive for full Npcs.

This comes with a catch tho...
Dominus is a BIG npc 48x48 pixels. (Average npcs are 16x32)
While we can add Bigger/GIgantic Npcs with the 1.6+ tools, "We KINDA shouldn't"

Let me explain.
The game was not designed to have bigger npcs due to pathfinding and clipping issues.
Right now, Dominus has a weird collision box, Its the intended 3 squares on the bottom of 16x16... But He isn't fully aligned to it (And I can't do anything about it).

He is like 8 pixels to the right to where he should be.
If you can excuse that silly bug (And OCD offense), then you can welcome Big npcs into your Valley life ❤

Took me A day and a Half to port all the Dominus maps and map patches to 1.6
Today I just finished porting him as a Full Npc

I am still deciding if I should do a similar thing with Alastor (Right now he is just a behind the scenes npc.)

Once I finish porting all the npcs, I can start porting all the Events (THIS WILL BE A DIFFICULT TASK!)

All the npc ID names have changed, so I have to change every single one. (And no, I cannot massChange them with a text editor because it will replace Npc mentions with IdNames and other code commands.)

I still need to rewrite all the Shop systems, look into the HD portraits and all the extra skins needed for the events.
I am getting there,and once I am fully done with the base porting, I can finally move on to the fun part... New Content!
