a taste of musical theater :) + almost done with mail / gifts! + vlogmas??

if you know me and my life story, you would know that my first love and greatest passion has always started in musical theater. this last month of 2024 has brought me a couple opportunities to audition for professional theater shows again!! :) one of the auditions asked me to prepare two songs: one upbeat and one ballad (meaning a slower tempo song). I chose "When Will my Life Begin" from Tangled for my upbeat song, and "Se Tu Mami" , an Italian opera song, for my ballad. another fun fact about me, for all the new patrons, is that I am a classically trained opera singer :) I've been singing opera in different languages since I was a kid! I also competed in classical choirs and it would standard for our team to win first place in every category lol. to excel and compete in musical theater, you need to be competitive in singing, acting, and dancing! out of all the skills, I would say dancing is my least strongest, but I also have had classical ballet training as well as hip hop too since I was a kid. I have spent the least time dance training and relentlessly focused on singing and acting most of my life. I would say I'm pretty ok at all 3 though and can perform in a show professionally :) another fun fact: my first ever professional jobs as a kid was on stage with broadway actors in productions such as "The King and I" and "Joseph and the amazing technicolor Dreamcoat."

I am almost finally done writing letters and signing polaroids for all the patrons who reached out specifically about receiving a mailed gift from me :) all polaroids are now sold out and claimed!! if you'd like a hand written letter of gratitude from me, please reach out ASAP. 

Lastly, I am thinking of returning to YouTube this month and taking part in Vlogmas!! Vlogmas is a trend that YouTubers do in December that means they post regularly everyday or as much as they can. I am thinking of starting next week and posting twice a week???? that is a pretty ambitious goal for someone who just posted a YouTube video after 5 years lol. I have been inspired!!! I would love to post twice a week, but if not, at least once a week starting next week. I am planning on dropping a special video with my friend Luba, and talking about the process of how we made our song. I am also going to showcase behind-the-scenes footage of our steamy rain promo shoot for our song visuals ;) who's excited?!?! also if you have any questions for that video, please let me know in the comments :)
