The weather is slowly getting colder and rainy in Alaska but I captured the sun as best I could yesterday. Hence the photos of me in the light; I’m wearing ruff I made with rainbow yarn and blue n orange buttons with reverse thread colors. On my wrist, you can partially see my new crochet candy aka rave kandi, but with my own twist. I haven’t revealed the kokopelli cabin truck that I am in the process of purchasing (after losing my housing - landlord wanted to move the cottage to his hunting land instead of rent it)
I returned to crochet again. The last three photos are the beautiful Aqua Tide Pools / Aurora Borealis inspired crochet clown collars (also called ruffles or neck warmers) that I just shared recently on instagram. I was really excited with the inspo/ theme photos that I found and included in the post. These three are still available … which leads me to thinking about getting a store and website.
The next theme and batch is baby colors aka pastels. Mostly baby pinks n blues with touches of yellows, oranges, and purples. I went a lil ham on this round. There’s chokers with kandi beads and ruffles galore. Been pretty excited about adding kandi to my crochet.
After that, I’m anxious to get to some fall colors while they are here in Alaska and before they are gone every where else. I have another new design for a neck warmer/ clown piece with points! What does that mean? You’ll seeee
I’ve just decided that I will share my cabin truck reveal with y’all next before anyone else gets to see it ;) thanks for your continuous support! It usually comes in handy in emergency situations but my goal is that eventually it could go towards releasing a record one day. The amount of times I have recorded without releasing is sad? But I would like to believe that it’s for good reason. I want to work on sharing voice memos to bandcamp, SoundCloud etc and in general revisiting unfinished projects or returning to themes that I worked on but never shared. You are part of what motivates me!!
