Fightful's Scott Edwards had a chance to interview Cosmic Angels member Unagi Sayaka. In this interview, Sayaka discussed a number of topics including getting into pro wrestling, her Gyan journey outside of STARDOM, and the top assessment match she's had.

When asked about getting into pro wrestling, Sayaka admitted she became a pro wrestler without ever having watched it. She stated that she was "impulsive" when it came to making the decision but then added that her five "kings of wrestling" are Mitsuhara Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Hiroshi Hase, Keiji Mutoh, and Hiromichi Fuyuki.

Sayaka discussed the Gyan journey that she has been on over the last couple of months following a tough go in STARDOM's 5STAR Grand Prix, stating that she wants to put every pro wrestler's emotions out of wack. She wants to make everyone smile, cry happy tears, and make pro wrestling happy. She's determined to change everything with this journey. And finally, Sayaka talked about her top assessment match where she was most impressed by the skill level of her opponent. She named Marvelous ace, Takumi Iroha, who she faced in the 2021 5STAR Grand Prix. Unagi named her "the best wrestler" but also noted that she's missing something too with the goal to show her what she's missing in the future.
