Yuzuki Aikawa Interview notes
Added 2022-11-23 12:00:07 +0000 UTCFightful's Scott Edwards had a chance to interview STARDOM's original ace, Yuzuki Aikawa, who discussed a number of topics including her run as Wonder of Stardom Champion, her time as a wrestler, and who she'd like to face from the STARDOM roster today. Aikawa explained that the way she visioned the Wonder of Stardom Championship was as a belt that symbolized her. The championship has a historic history of champions who have made the title their own with Tam Nakano really taking that to the level of Aikawa's mindset last year.
Aikawa noted the following when talking about the belt's history. "Now, so many different wrestlers have worn it, it’s packed so full of the feelings of all sorts of different wrestlers, and I think it’s a really wonderful belt." When talking about the start of her wrestling career, she made the point that going from a gravure idol to a wrestler was hard with many fans adding they thought she'd "underestimate pro wrestling," which fired her up. And finally, when asking Aikawa who she'd want to face from the current STARDOM roster, she instantly named Giulia as her one option.
