I think this is a very good way to look at it. It’s funny how much I participate in the IWC without actually consuming much live weekly wrestling content.

2022-10-25 19:54:37 +0000 UTCEstablishing a baseline is important. The product was so far below that for so long that it's gonna take some time for that to happen. I firmly believe that the real evaluation should wait until after The Bloodline runs its course with the titles. Right now they can only freely book the midcard men's titles and the women's titles. They're so far in a corner with The Bloodline (and Roman in particular) that there's only so much they can do right now. A coherent product may be enough for WWE's core audience. While it may eventually not be enough for the terminally online (like me XD), I'll reserve judgment for now.

2022-10-25 19:50:21 +0000 UTCFor me, WWE was terrible and unwatchable (not being hyperbolic) for the last 3 years. AEW was a nice break but all the stuff that is getting reported is exhausting (I should probably be less online). I figured cool now’s a good time to be back to watching WWE. Few things I’ve noticed: 1.) The product is better yet it’s still firmly within the WWE mold, which is great for the fans. 2.) Better does not make 3 hours of Raw any easier. 3.) HHH is getting a laughable amount of praise for what he’s undoing rather than what he’s doing. Shit fell so far under Vince at the end that HHH is being called a genius for doing the bare minimum. Bonus: I’m really curious to see if the rose colored glasses still exist in a year from now? Eventually undoing VKM’s bullshit will not be enough.
