Suspended AEW names unclear on suspension lenght
Added 2022-09-13 22:03:36 +0000 UTCYoung Bucks, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler were all suspended after the Brawl Out situation, with CM Punk and Ace Steel's future uncertain. Even though we haven't specifically gained word that suspensions are in order for Punk and Steel, The Wrestling News reported the aforementioned suspensions. As of now we've not heard of any lengths, and for good reason, those suspended don't even know.
Fightful Select learned on Tuesday that as of now, the numerous talent and coaches who were suspended don't necessarily know how long their suspensions are going to last.
Those backstage in AEW said that they believe that will remain the case until any potential legal situations are figured out and the investigation into the situation is complete. It was also reiterated to us by AEW sources that Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa and Christopher Daniels were already scheduled to have this week off from AEW programming to visit Japan, where all three are at now.
