WWE has interest in integral NXT figure returning

Fightful has learned that WWE has had interest in bring back Ryan Katz into the fold. Katz was let go in January of this year, and was an integral figure creatively for the NXT brand for almost seven years before that. We've heard that Katz is expected back if he isn't already, and had remained close with several in NXT. There were some rumors last month that he could already have been back in the fold, but if not, the interest was already there on WWE's end.
Katz has been hosting a podcast along with Road Dogg.
In addition, Katz appeared in Wrestling Society X as Fabian Kaelin, and in TNA as Minion. He also did motion capture for several WWE Raw vs. Smackdown games, appeared as a Rosebud, showed up in the Vaudevillain's titantron video, and was a part of Kane and Daniel Bryan's anger management skits.

Road Dogg being involved again is just weird, lets hope he doesn't end up booking any of the shows again, we know how that turned out last time round.
