Cèlia's story

Cèlia has always been everything a well-educated upper-class lady needed to be. While her parents were still looking for a husband for her, she accidentally found an erotic novel in her room, probably the property of some maid who carelessly left it behind.

Far from giving it back, the curiosity got the best of her and she devoured every word and page with eagerness awaking desires she didn’t know she had. She began to explore herself countless nights with a growing desire to be deflowered by her future husband. She couldn’t wait to feel the real thing, for her fingers started to not be enough.

It didn't take long for her parents to find her a husband, she was young, beautiful and of good fortune, so they had a long list of suitors.

Ferran, the young man they chose was young, more or less her age, and from a good family. Cèlia liked him, he seemed handsome, although somewhat reserved and quiet. He didn't seem to have much interest in her, but that didn’t stop her from fantasizing about him looking forward to their wedding night.

But for him, she was a simple marriage contract to please his parents. He had no interest in Cèlia and her wedding night was quite unsatisfactory, especially for her. He just did what he had to do without worrying much about pleasing her. For him, intercourse was nothing more than procreation and the sooner an heir arrived the better. He was the typical man who believed that women couldn't feel any kind of pleasure and Cèlia would have thought the same if she hadn't spent all those nights pleasuring herself.

The years passed, the heir did not arrive and her husband lost more interest in her every day. They attended dinners and dances because that's what they had to do in high society, but Ferran wasn't very interested in them either. Once he closed the businesses he had to close, he decided it was time to leave, but Cèlia insisted on staying and he gave in until he got fed up and just left leaving her alone

During one of these parties, Cèlia will meet Gelabert, one of the wealthiest bourgeois from the city, widowed and somewhat older than her, with whom she will begin a game of seduction behind her husband's back. Gelabert will open the doors of Cèlia's desires, even those that she didn't know she had.

He will be the one who will be in charge of preparing all those soirées, carefully choosing the guests and perverting his games more and more.

I know the poll was about a Duke but the action is set in Barcelona between the 1890s and early 1900s and high society was mostly formed by wealthy bourgeoisie. Nobility in Catalonia is a bit of a delicate matter, so it’s easier for me if it’s just a very rich man.

Anyway, here you have all the set-up for Cèlia’s story. Now it’s time for me to design Gelabert and think of how this relationship will go. For sure it’s not going to be a healthy one.
